  1. ooh true, although i use fuzz over my amps distortion so it's just as easy to click the fuzz of than switching pick ups of you could roll off the volume, although not sure how well that would work on the FF if it's ocsillating
  2. Hmmm i'd use a fairly quick delay time with a few repeats, no delay in the verse. sounds better with fuzz for the riff and the verses but switch to crisper distortion for the chorus so the harmony up sounds clearer
  3. sound at the beginning? isn't it just acoustic guitar? i'll listen a sec
  4. the noise at the end is delay with infinite repeats and turn the delay time up and down.
  5. there's some fuzz factory oscillation in there and the ending is delay speed and time being messed around with.
  6. nice haze. i'm thinking of buying the blueshift album but i could save you the postage hassles and you could send me the mp3's splitting money with ex band members is no fun anyway!
  7. Fury: set up FF -> EQ -> Whammy Whammy Dry -> Main Amp Whammy Wet -> Delay -> 2nd Quieter Amp i use: Fuzz Factory on (O'Clock) Gate 7 Comp 10 Drive 1 Stab 1 (adjust to preference 5 kills oscillation) Delay - Reverse Mix - full wet signal into 2nd amp Repeats - 1 Time - about 3/4's of a second or something like that Whammy - 1 up / 1 down Harmony I think the neck pickup sounds best for the main riff, i trem pick it so that it all blends together and then just put in some bends and hammers/pull offs etc. set whammy on octave up/down harmony setting and just freestyle with the treadle through the riff. then turn the delay off for the verse and use the harmony octave down for a chunky sound in the verse riff. then rock forward in harmony to up octave for the chorus then back to down harmony for the verse and forward (up) again for the chorus. then rock back down for the little interlude then put the delay back on and freestyle the treadle for the riff and into the solo bit, then turn the delay back off and rock the treadle forwards for the chorus and then back down for the outro....
  8. haha i meant echo park, its a pretty good pedal actually, except for the not being able to control the sweep. its not as ugly as i looks in pictures either thankfully
  9. ah well it doesn't have those maybe something doubles up as those controls...
  10. possibly, if so i haven't sussed out how yet... how do you do it on the dl4? i think the mod might adjust the depth and maybe the faster the repeat rate the faster the sweep, i'll go have a toy with it maybe...
  11. yeah i've been using the sweep echo, i have a echo pro though, not a dl4 but i should be able to get it sounding something like it, the sweep always seems wrong, i guess i need to play around more, have experiemented with the delay much because i haven't had it long... what sort of delay time do you reckon?
  12. anyone know the settings for the sweep(?) delay in microcuts for the verse/ intro that bellamy has been using for the last year or so, thanks...
