Hullabalooza
Hi All, First Time poster here and I just got back from the show at the Staple Center in Los Angeles. Fantastic BTW!!! I am writing my one and only post to warn you of some blatent line cutting that I witnessed today that had me completely disgusted. It is not my intention to be mean. I feel that everyone here should know that, should you encounter this kid, he WILL cut in front of you. Beware of this kid and his friend should you see him roaming around your line and not commiting to line up: I got in line early like many others for this gig, about 6:15AM. I first noticed this kid roaming the area in front of the cue between 11-Noon. At no time did he commit to getting in line or getting a number, or even bother to talk to anyone to ask ANYTHING. A few hours roll by and I noticed that he had hopped the line and was sitting about 30 people behind me. From the people I was talking to, he was asked to leave by the folks in that area and he did not. I informed security about this kid and they said that they would send someone out. That never happened. So in the end, this kid got to: Cheat his way to get up close. He ended up standing right behind me. I was at the barrier, right in front of MATT!!! (Excuse me while I have a moment of happy thoughts) I got to hear his out of tune singing right in my ear, while he rubbed his pre-pubescent junk on me. And to top that, he only knew the words to the new songs. Perhaps that is what broke the camel's back for me. It's not okay to cut in line, but the fact that this child got away with cutting in line in front of so many die-hard fans AND he didn't know the words to BLISS!!!! Holy Jesus H!!!! That's just not right! I saw this dumb ignorant 4 year at Night one of Staples. He looks like Macully Caulkin and Golem from Lord of the Rings' lovechild. He is the scum that is a stupid fan, He got there around 1pm (I've been there since 4am, along with some really cool Musers that I met) and we all realized that he was utterly obnoxious. He ate a pizza and fries like a savage getting it all over his face (thus the red mouth) and when the doors opened, thats when the line hopping began (he was close to 25 people behind us, you'll still be in GA relax!) Once we were inside, he constantly tried to get in our conversations and stuck his head in our circle. That's all I have to say. But seriously Golem Caulkin, GTFO out of every gig. Furygirl
^ Grrr, I want to make a voodoo doll of him and stick little pins in him and drop him off a very high building.
Citizen Sandy
Perhaps good payback would be to have these pics posted at the cue so people can see and be aware of him when he shows up. Then everyone will know ahead of time that he's a d-bag.
Howince
Hopefully I'll have some nice Musers around me when they come to Australia, (we generally are very nice i think ) because as a diabetic I'll need to leave the line for food about 4 times... I've got these two friends joining me for the Sydney gig who don't know the band that well, and believe me, I'll be telling them that if they don't put in the hours and line up with me from the beginning, they can have whatever spot at the back of the line they can get, because I won't be saving them one! occer
I saved a spot for my mate at Teignmouth. I got there at 6am and he got there at 10am. People behind me didn't mind as I pre-warned them. It's the people who get there late and don't give a fuck that annoy me. Yeah this is what I'm talking about possibly doing, I don't see a problem with it. The person referred to in the OP, however, is a jackass. Pip
I can see your point.. a lot of people are very outspoken and have no problem saying they don't like people turning up later. Someone who's not so outspoken and is maybe a bit more shy might just smile and nod because they're a bit worried about causing a scene and having to stand with those people all day, as you said. Yes, I have trouble speaking my mind in the queue too.:LOL:

Citizen Sandy
AHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHA Sandy you are amazing. That kid made me so mad. LOL! We need to spread the word about this kid. We should print up a poster next time! I recognized him from the Mandalay Bay show in Las Vegas too. He's just loud-mouthed punk who claims to have rich parents. He was singing in my ear on purpose because I told him off before the show. I swear he's getting an elbow to the junk next time I see him in the pit. Security won't know a thing. I'd advise taking plenty of snacks with you anyway but yeah, if you explain that you're diabetic so need to go and get food every now and again, then I'm sure nobody will mind. They'll be more likely to look out for you during the gig too. Yes, I have trouble speaking my mind in the queue too.:LOL: You need to speak up a bit Pip Don't bother giving him an elbow in the junk. KrissyJ182
HAHA, that's the kid that cut in front of us! We got there at 8am and around 1 he started snooping around, we were giving him the evil eye the whole time and finally told him to go back to his spot in line. He and his friend said they were just wanted to get out of the sun for a bit. Some other guys jumped in front of us too but we just walked right in front of them when everyone started lining up. When doors opened, everyone was walking down the stairs in a single file line and that kid ran past us on the other side of the stairs... and the security guard let him do it I still got front row in front of Matt, but this kid was right behind me and he is NUTS. I heard him tell someone that he got there at 1PM! This makes me sad. It's really unfair.

Pistol Star
Ah, I didn't see this thread. I posted about him in the LA#2 thread, so I'll copy and paste that post into here: Here are a few picture of this kid who kept jumping the line in front of people who were there all day: (I don't know how to use spoiler tags, so here are the links) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y257/UltimaWeapon01/misc/MUSE/26%20Sept%20Staples%20Center/P1000503.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y257/UltimaWeapon01/misc/MUSE/26%20Sept%20Staples%20Center/P1000504.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y257/UltimaWeapon01/misc/MUSE/26%20Sept%20Staples%20Center/P1000508.jpg He was skulking around as early as 11am but didn't stay in line. It wasn't until around 3pm that he actually committed to the line, even then, he kept inching his way up the queue and eventually was right there one row away from the barrier. Also, I heard him talking to his mother who was two rows behind him, so one row behind his friend, while he was picking his nose and wiping it on the GA floor. That's seriously disgusting. Then he ate Starburst afterwards with the same hand. I hope he can't see through his Bieber hair and gets run over by a rigging truck.
Furygirl
^ That is just sick. I'm starting to think maybe the kid is just a little "special." No one can be that much of a tool. Or if they can, then yeah, rigging truck.

ABQinvincible
Those pics are priceless. There's lots of names we could come up with for those losers... I don't mind people not knowing every song. But I do mind people that are just inconsiderate pricks. Tonight during RBS There were 3 guys shout-talking to eachother. I listened in a little bit, and they were gossiping about their personal lives. Ya know, I don't mind if you talk to your friends during the show if you are talking about HOW AWESOME THIS SHOW IS, but I don't understand how people can pay money for a concert, and then talk super loud, ignoring the fact that Ruled By Secrecy is being played. As I was reading this, Ruled by Secrecy started playing on my Ipod.
