I too also quite like UD live, especially the opening. When it's been placed live recently in the pitch black, with low level smoke + amazing light show + some of the most atmospheric sounds matt can create using the keytar, it really looks a spectacle :)

Undisclosed Desires Live>Starlight Live.

I'm going to disagree with ya there. Starlight was fun to clap along and sing to - I quite enjoyed it. Undisclosed Desires, however, bored the shit out of me. But that's just me I guess :\

It's my favourite Muse song, I hope it stays around. It lacks a little something live, needs the bass turned up a bit, I want it to make my sternum vibrate.

I wouldn't really describe it as atmoospheric :erm: And I love how all the comments are about how good the light show is not how "good" the song is live...

It will be gone by next tour thank goodness

I saw UD at the Casino de Paris, with no light show, and it was boring.

starlight live = fun happy times :awesome:

UD live = cool lasers and lights but not sure they've got it quite right, I don't think it's a lost cause, it could be improved. I love the album version :$ I also love the keytar intro in the live version.

Like other people have said, I think it's generally here to stay for this tour but I don't think it'll be around for the next one...

btw i saw mentions of the keytar lovin' - that seems to have subsided recently as Matt has decided to make SMBH his happy song :eyebrows:

:yesey:

First time I seen it I was completely indifferent to it. second time was a lot better though(I'll put it down to this: Lasers+rain=Glitter rain )

Dunno what peoples beef with Starlight is though, it's gotten a lot better live since BHaR :erm:

Thats because i find it god damn awful live,... it just sounds so ?weak?

I feel as though Starlight used to be a good track for Muse live, but nowadays as people are beginning to tire of it, they've started using more and more lasers/light effects to make it justifiable in the set.

With UD they've skipped the stage of having it as a good song and just gone straight for the effects, so i really can't see it lasting after this tour

I JUST WANTED TO HOOOOOOOOLLLLDDDDDDDD.

cannae whack the final line of starlight.

ud is meh meh.

feeling good needs to go unless they sing YEAH FUCKING MOTHER FUCKER FUCK FUCK again. through the megaphone. not gonna happen so we'll have to live with it.

and i hate to be a tad controversial but motp has never been my fave live, but it's one of the best on bhar.

Ahh I like motp and i really want to love it live, but it just seems to go on for too long as it never really 'kicks in', :(

I love both starlight and UD, nice light shows, and Dommeh stands to play his drums! :)

I don't like the standing drumming :$ Between the new kit and him standing there, I expect to hear steel drum plinking instead of UD :chuckle:

I used to think Map was a bit "meh" live, love it on the album but not sure how it translates... when I saw it on this tour, though, I enjoyed it :)

the riff at the end compliments it but the crowd as a whole don't really appreciate it which makes it a less mindblowing song. unlike blackout which everyone stands in awe of.

It is weak, it's a shame they couldn't convert it from CD to live properly.

Basically Muse are trying to make up for playing the same songs over and over by having sparkly lights.

the miming of ud, has to be said, didn't help the critics.

It doesn't bother me that much with Muse, ofcourse i would prefer them not to do it, but with Muse we know it's not being done to make it sound better live...It's definately not good when bands do it because they know they can't do the song justice live
