Gareeh Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 but it is [sorry if i'm wrong] the first time muse have properly mimed a song. sing for abso was close to it until chris deep throated dom, i mean the mic.
Matty987 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 sing for abso was close to it until chris deep throated dom, i mean the mic. Good times. What was this thread about again, UD or something?
L. Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I loved UD in Teignmouth, sadly it has never sounded that good again at any of the other gigs I've been to.
a-museing Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I loved it at Oxegen. It was much better than when I seen it in November. If a staple from 'the Resistance' was to be taken out of the set I would prefer if it was Resistance.
LuckyDawg Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I'm getting pretty stokes to hear Undisclosed Desires and Starlight in October (woo hoo). And I'm wondering if Neutron Star Collision will be making an appearance in the fall? I have my fingers crossed.
Beibi Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 II used to think Map was a bit "meh" live, love it on the album but not sure how it translates... when I saw it on this tour, though, I enjoyed it That happened to me with Stockholm Syndrome I don't know why but I never had been impressed by it's live version until the last gig, that was immense. I loved UD in Teignmouth, sadly it has never sounded that good again at any of the other gigs I've been to. Maybe because it was the first time you listened to it without the album version as a reference. Not sure what's wrong with this song, it sounds empty. I didn't enjoy it in November and in June I was more bothered trying to make a video rather than actually listening to the song
spark_ Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Really needs to try something different with the song to justify its place IMO. ATM it's just a straight album-rip with some lasers. Play it on the piano, pump up the bass, something like that. Something different and interesting.
OpenMinded Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Undisclosed desires sucks. waste of time. imagine something like the small print instead... undisclosed desires is a mood killer. been waiting a while to say that
Lih Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/muse/2009/wamu-theater-seattle-wa-1bd70d18.html
Olly. Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 It is a mood killer definately. Casino de Paris was perfect until UD came on, ruined the atmosphere I felt. Does it with every gig I've been to.
Mozza Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/muse/2009/wamu-theater-seattle-wa-1bd70d18.html When I saw these sets I thought UD and Resistance would start to be phased out, with MK Ultra becoming more regular and then possibly the other two parts of Exogenesis, or even a couple of old songs coming through.
wuatenigenu Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 I'm getting pretty stokes to hear Undisclosed Desires and Starlight in October (woo hoo). And I'm wondering if Neutron Star Collision will be making an appearance in the fall? I have my fingers crossed. I can only hope this is a joke. Neutron Star Collision and UD = Worst Muse songs of all time. And Neutron Star Collision SUCKS live.
MattXXI Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I can only hope this is a joke. Neutron Star Collision and UD = Worst Muse songs of all time. And Neutron Star Collision SUCKS live. I'm sorry that everyone doesn't have the same mindset as you.
Lih Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 When I saw these sets I thought UD and Resistance would start to be phased out, with MK Ultra becoming more regular and then possibly the other two parts of Exogenesis, or even a couple of old songs coming through. They love teasing us
Pig Man Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Even though Starlight is good live, it's still a god awful song. Undisclosed Desires Live>Starlight Live. Starlight is a hunk of cheese, I can still picture it in a marathon commercial with that piano part That being said, UD is a better song, I really don't see why people have hate for it , I wish they'd just play through the whole Exo though :/
scottycydonia Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 UD and resistance are great songs that are fun live but should be dropped! Muse play too many light songs for me... SBH, UD, USOE, FG, Overture, Resistance and Starlight! Their next album will have light songs on it which will be played live too! The setlist should be funny to see then!
Ami34 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 UD is alright but to be honest have no huge disagreements with any Muse songs. It's probably because I have yet to see them live,so I can't judge.
Super Sammy! Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 ....how long do you think it will take until they do their first show since tr came out WITHOUT playing undisclosed desires? It's been dropped before, while they were doing their radio festival tour at the end of last year, they didn't play UD once.
OpenMinded Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 ...? It's a single, it's on their new album, it's popular. It's not going anywhere for a while. It might disappear on the album #6 tour but that's going to be years away yet. Its horrible.
