The page isnt working now because its "so popular that it was hammering [NME's] servers" :indiff:

Is that Horrors guitarist actually that good? I dont listen to them, i dont even know what they sound like :$

Anyway, no Joe Satriani in top 20 = :noey:...and Tom Morello needs to be higher :p

And we all know how moronic their fans are as well...although Muse fans are more moronic, if they truly believe Bellamy is the best guitarist ever.

But he can haz the choas pad! it makes awesome noizes!!!! and his fuzz factory makes it BRRRRNNNNNN like!!!

Bellamy is good, but that is it! He surely can't win this? Have you lot ever thought about simply not rigging a vote before? It makes you seem like twats to be honest. Muse were once upon a time good enough to win awards off the back of their own brilliance; they're clearly not any more sadly, so why feed their egos further?

Got 5 mins in before I got bored. Check out the Bert Jansch video I linked to for real skill on a guitar, no effects, no triple-necked electric, just one acoustic and every finger doing something ;)

Obviously Vai type stuff is far from something that someone can learn overnight, but in terms of skill going on there, it's not all that impressive at all!

Technically superb, but it doesn't inspire me or make me want to pick up a guitar. If anything I think guitarists such as Vai, Satriani, Malmsteen are all a bit geeky.

I'd pick Jimmy Page any day. But one of my favourite guitarists is the one who never played a solo - Johnny Marr.

Nothing against guitar solos as such obviously - WHERE is Gilmour in this?

Who's rigging the vote in favour of Bellamy? Have you read the thread?

Just read the current "rankings" of their "greatest guitarist ever" and face palming is required big time.

Let's pretend only 15-20 years old kids with no knowledge and clue about guitar and skills are voting.

Remembers me the people wo do pretend Lionel Messi is way better than Diego Maradona...

I can name so many guitarists vastly superior to Bellamy I could write a dictionnary full of their names..
