hypermusic
Plus you! Seriously though, I'm almost as excited for seeing pwoper musers (inluding pwopermuser) as I am for Muse P.S. What's with the facebook absence? Should've seen that one coming! I decided I was going to try and be productive this week and so I banned myself from facebook. I spent the entire day trying to move rooms, it takes so bloody long! I doubt I'll be able to stay off it all week though.
Uccellino
So excited! However, I predict another samey setlist. Uprising (extended) Supermassive Black Hole New Born MK Ultra + Riff/ Map of the Problematique Bliss: to get your hopes up then bring them down by playing Guiding Light afterwards Guiding Light OR Bliss here to get the crowds spirits up a bit after Guiding Light Interlude + Hysteria Nishe United States of Eurasia Feeling Good MK Jam Undisclosed Desires Resistance Starlight Time Is Running Out Unnatural Selection Encore 1 Unintended Exogenesis: Symphony Part I (Overture) Stockholm Syndrome Encore 2 Take a Bow Plug In Baby Man with a Harmonica intro + Knights of Cydonia :') <3 Doesn't sound at all bad to me! They gave us Cave at Liverpool last year though, so I reckon they might throw in a surprise like that at Manchester. I want Sunburn, but I've seen them play it before so I won't cry if they don't play it:LOL: Only 32 days!!!!

L.
Hotel has been booked, now I just need to work out how to get from the hotel to the venue! Does anybody local knows what the best way to get from the city centre to the LCC? Is it better to use public transport or drive there?

I think you're right TIME HAS GONE SO FAST O_o it's a but worrying but I won't complain! Fish Custard
(Incidentally is Sheffield nice? I'm considering it for uni ) I really liked Sheffield as a city, I thought it was quite similar to Liverpool but greener. Bit hilly, but there is a tram system () As for the uni, I really liked it too, it was really easy to get to. Not sure about any other departments, but the Chemistry dept was great It's down as my insurance

Fish Custard
Cheers They did mention quite a few times that it was supposedly the greenest city Oh, they mentioned that did they? There's a really nice little park (Weston Park I think it was called) near the University's children's hospital and there's a duck pond and everything

I'm sold now They also repeatedly mentioned that it was the safest and cheapest city as well. I'm properly considering it Anyway to get this back on topic MANCHESTER, FUCK YEAH! NicT
(Incidentally is Sheffield nice? I'm considering it for uni ) I went to uni in Sheffield, quite a while ago now, however, and I loved it! I can only imagine it's got better as they've spent loads of money on the city doing it up. Best 3 years of my life up there.

I'm considering taking a second banner with a general "Hey Boardies!" on it to attract attention. We'll probably get talking in the queue but it is embarrassing just randomly asking are you on the messageboards. I asked dozens of people, some had MUSE written on their faces and I only found one. The rest just though I was some sort of obsessive. Not that I'm not of course. My plans for the gig might be changing actually. I've kept playing my Mum Muse snippets but she hates them, so now my younger brother might be joining me. He's a bit of a shortarse so he's not really cut out for standing, meaning the barrier is his only realistic option if he wants to be with me. Only problem is, he's convinved he won't last and if he did get pulled I'd have no choice but to follow him out Suggestions anyone? Edit: He's only 13 so if he is coming with me we'd appreciate someone playing his Aunt (under 14s have to be escorted by over 25s or somthing like that)
Uccellino
I wonder when they'll update this LCCC page with more concert details...could be any day now: http://www.lccc.co.uk/otsite.php?p=news&id=3667 There are 99 people on the LCCC facebook page! (don't mention how many are on the Wembley one.....)

I think people might be quite careful around a young person though, so you might not need to.
PwoperMuser
(Incidentally is Sheffield nice? I'm considering it for uni ) As people have said, yes, Sheffield is lovely but I'm a bit biased. What do you want to study at Uni? And were you thinking Sheffield Uni or Sheffield Hallam? (don't go there.) Regular Muser meets are held here too It is hilly, but you soon develop legs of steel. It keeps you fit Oh, they mentioned that did they? There's a really nice little park (Weston Park I think it was called) near the University's children's hospital and there's a duck pond and everything Yes, Weston Park It's about 5 minutes away from my house. The duck pond is pretty awesome. They've recently done it up and it's sp pwetty I'm considering taking a second banner with a general "Hey Boardies!" on it to attract attention. We'll probably get talking in the queue but it is embarrassing just randomly asking are you on the messageboards. I asked dozens of people, some had MUSE written on their faces and I only found one. The rest just though I was some sort of obsessive. Not that I'm not of course. When everyone knows what they're wearing we'll have to give descriptions. Somehow I don't think "Muser shirt, and jeans" is going to be helpful though The banner sounds great then of couse we have the delightful fliers/posters whatever it is
