El Zilcho
Can't you people just leave it be now that a mod has spoken? No need to keep on nagging...
ADAM
silencers would be the best option i guess..?! yeah - they were doing a playback so silencers and tape on the cymbals to muffle them would explain it
no3chris
oi, i wasnt bitching. and yeah, theyre definetly silencers why hasnt nobody noticed theirs no drum mics.. lol and also.. Every promo thingy theyve done. none of them have seemed to use their normal gear. and with regards to their gear. it has consistantly changed every album new kit/maybe more than one kit = not a big suprise
Niles
He has many kits and cymbal sets by many brands, but he's not allowed to show them unless they're Tamas/Zildjians. and yeah, theyre definetly silencers At one point I thought they might have been sound offs cos I saw one lift off the snare when it was hit but just attibuted the anomaly to awful video quality. why hasnt nobody noticed theirs no drum mics.. lol Internal micing? niles, they're not ebonys they're silencers. the drums weren't live. How do you mean... was he synching (and if so, why)? oh really?? i didnt know that mr knowlegde! Oh, you floor me. aaw too bad! though i know they're not fabricating the HP900 anymore. Huhwhat? The 900 series is the Iron Cobras, everything else is regular Tama hardware.
DominicHoward
niles, they're not ebonys they're silencers. the drums weren't live. How do you mean... was he synching (and if so, why)? well, the performance was a playback apart from the vocals which were live (i presume). but yeah, why use silencers if the drums are live? The 900 series is the Iron Cobras, everything else is regular Tama hardware. my mistake i wrote "the" was meant to be "that" i have a 'thing' for that first one... well, the performance was a playback apart from the vocals which were live (i presume). but yeah, why use silencers if the drums are live? half playback yeah, the vocals were live. The drums weren't live as well as the keys, bass and guitar. ps.: sorry for the size. inepta
yeah, just looking at the website. My friend told me that..guess he was wrong. edit: he said they stopped sending it cuz a new version is about to come. oh well...he's nuts anyway! sorry
ADAM
well, the performance was a playback apart from the vocals which were live (i presume). but yeah, why use silencers if the drums are live? only the vocals were live. However it had to look like they were playing live - so matt and chris' guitars werent plugged in and dom had silencers on so that they could still play but hardly any noise was produced. ADAM
me too. Plus if they scratch they will look awful and it will be expensive to get spare parts if needed. Normal Iron Cobra all the way baby!
Niles
I think they look a bit naff actually (the chromes), Iron Cobra >>>> Chrome Cobra.

DominicHoward
they're just a terrible excuse to scrounge more money out of the drum playing public. it's not a better pedal ffs.
tinned_meat
they're probably more of a collector's item than actually being used. god that sonunds so obvious, sorry:$
