Starting to feel like this song is becoming vastly overrated. Still good ofc. But seems to be praised for things that aren't really that special.

I agree.

It's really good, but it's not as good as everyone makes it out to be (which is that they think that it's the next best thing to sliced bread.) It's great, but not "ZOMGMUSE!!!111!!1!1 :D :D " great. It's no KoC, New Born, Ruled by Secrecy, etc. for example.

Regarding the structure again...

I've just noticed that the solo is actually in place of the second verse(or where you'd expect the second verse to be), which is so cool.

...Isn't that how solos normally work? That is, they connect two choruses, just like a verse does.

On a related note, I find sliced bread massively overrated.

But the butter-to-bread ratio increases substantially when you slice the bread before spreading the butter.

I'm not saying it isn't good, just that the general opinion regarding sliced bread is way too high. People make it out to be the best thing since sliced bread, if you catch my drift.

But it is - how would you make toast without sliced bread?

And if you couldn't toast, how would you drink alcohol?

And if you couldn't drink alcohol, how could you possibly be happy?

In short, sliced bread is the root of happiness.

Happiness is also overrated though.
