Dee3Dee
Correct me if i'm wrong; but there's a very Bond-esque vibe to this song, especially compounded by the little 007-like jingle at the end... Thoughts? Everyone has had the same thought.

mycorona135
Best song on the album, little bit of old school Muse in there. The back round music kind of reminds me of the James bond n64 game music lmao.
Museic Syndrome
This song has a very Muse-y feel to it. I like it, but at the same time, it feels a little too much like like something Muse has done before. I don't know how to explain it, but I kind of wish the band had taken this song in a different direction to make it feel like the "next generation" of Muse rather than "been there, done that". I might feel differently on the next listen - this is just an opinion based on my first listen. Edited to say: I like it even more on the second listen, though I still don't think it's all that new of a sound for the band. They can't win with us can they? If they had taken it to another direction, it would have been another one of those tracks that makes the people here go all " This is not Muse RIP Muse " A whole new sound for the band? There's plenty of songs like that on the album...

Because it's based around a riff that's 8 years old now People wanted Absolution/OoS Muse, Supremacy delivers.
Bumpypotato
This song is all sorts of bad ass. That falsetto "Suuuuupremacyyy" made my pants literally disappear.

If they had taken it to another direction, it would have been another one of those tracks that makes the people here go all " This is not Muse RIP Muse "Â A whole new sound for the band? There's plenty of songs like that on the album... Â No, I don't want an all new direction (where they lose the Muse sound altogether and just do a totally different kind of sound, which is what I think some of the songs on this album are like) - I like it when they keep the Muse sound but take it to a more advanced level. I wasn't clear about this in my original post (that's what working 12 hour days does to you). Â That said, I'm liking "Supremacy" more and more each time I listen to it. I really like the song on a personal level, though I still stand by my comment about it not being a song that takes the Muse sound to a new level. ourmatetone
Album arrived today (two days early, ooh yeah!). Had already listened to it via the stream a couple of times, but I'm loving Supremacy more and more. We need to set up a petition to get this as the new Bond theme.... haarpuna
This to me is the biggest drop between my expectation and the actual result. I thought I'd absolutely love this, but I'm very disappointed. Based on the description I expected it to be like Take a Bow, but it.... um... isn't. Hat
Yeah I don't see where the big changes are that reviewers were talking about. Made it out to be all over the place and suddenly changing into something different. It's the standard verse-chorus-verse-solo deal. Not that it's a bad thing. Just saying the reviewers made it out to be something quite different.

Well all the descriptions said it was metal riff going into strings going into huge falsetto going into strings going into metal riff
Jazzthief
I just don't get the hype. It's and okay track but nothing special. The riff is great and the falsetto is pretty damn good but the rest is quite underwhelming. It has almost zero energy and soul to it. Too bad that they're gonna open gigs with this. That's your fault, all the descriptions were about as far from Take a Bow as you could get. I just don't get the hype. It's and okay track but nothing special. Assuming Matt keeps up that kickass falsetto on tour then, there's gonna be a lot of fans left without their pants at their gigs...

Jobby
It will be ridiculously hard to not sing the SUUUPREMAACEEEEEEEY bit live. I'm not sure whether I want to or not when I eventually see them On one hand, it's ridiculously fun and pretty hard not to sing along to it but, on the other hand, it'd feel so much cooler if everything was quiet while Matt started that falsetto, like at E-Werk. I think I was that one for Radiohead No actually I just sang Lotus Flower and 15 Step, as everyone did. At Muse I'll sing just the singalong moments, I think
