    This album seems like a sucessful blend of some directions found in The 2nd Law and Drones. I rather like what little I heard so far. Break it to Me is my highlight so far. Kinda reminds me of stuff from BHAR ("Easily" anyone ?) This is the sound of Muse stepping up their game.

    Simplicity can be a strong tool in the right hands. I think the piano melody is simple, but sounds nice enough. There is something about the rhythm and the flow of the vocals in the verses, what I like. Mercy's chorus is boring, Strangely, it doesn't detract from the song for me. An unimaginative chorus, at least it succeeds in sounding triumphant.

    It's not offensive enough for that. I'm quite neutral about the song. I rather like it, if I'm in the right mood.

    I was hoping for some j-pop influence. You know what, you can't always have nice things in life! I'm strange (). I absolutely love stuff like Survival or USoE When cheese is demanded, serve the cheese.

    His vocals only work with these kind of lyrics. "Better" lyrics would make his falsetto effectively worse. That's my theory at least. Muse lyrics were always an afterthought, never the driving creative force behind songs. I don't really care anymore.

    Notice how the mod is not even sarcastic. Shit mod being shit again. For the whole drama just click on the small triangles. I think the whole issue comes down not to what we discuss, but how we discuss. Some stuff can come off as rude. Shocker, I know.
