Also do they have binding? I'm curious how the alloy finishes into the paint with no sharp edges...

Yes, got in there about 10:10am and by 10:20 I had asked Adrian to put one back for me, no idea how long they will take but they are making 25 in this batch

good stuff! I was tempted to get a flight down from Glasgow to the show as I had a strong feeling a delorean model would be released. Wanted one of these ever since seeing Plug in Baby on Top of the Pops. Hopefully I will be far enough up on the waiting list to get one!

No binding but the join between the wood and metal is very neat, can hardly see the join. I think they said the sides, back and headstock will be more silver, less grey than the prototype

I'm kinda with you on it, it looks cheap. I think if they put in a proper mothebucker, and P90 as mentioned, it will come together much more. Right now it's this awkward industrious piece with nice hardware.
