  1. Play a game...Muse could pic one or two gig-goer from the board (per gig) and they can wish for one song at their concert...
  2. I think it is harder for new bands, cause they have the pressure to find an audience, the record company (if they have one) might put pressure on them for making music which can be sold. Maybe I see this the wrong way, but this is my impression. But I think Muse have pressure from the record company as well, not in making the music they want but in doing tours which attract many many people. So they do their hits on the big tours cause a lot know these songs. But for sure it wouldn't hurt any casual fan to get to hear songs they don't know, like I said before if they are really interested in the band (and enjoy the new songs) they will search for them, buy them. So it would be a win for the band as well, for the record company as well. But to get this to their heads...
  3. I do read the other threads as well.. Musicians should have the freedom to create the music they like to create, this is not easy for young bands, sure, but Muse is an established band. And if they'd do a Hip Hop album next, hell why not? Not sure if I'd like it Popmusic today is manufactured to please the most of people, that's why I don't like most of it, either everything sounds the same, or it was written/produced by the same people, I mean, this is boring. You need to filter out the good music. It's still there, but - in my opinion - not as much as it used to be. So muse are doing popsongs as well, but I still see them as a rock band. I like the diversity in their songs, not only the same ol' rock songs every album, but pop here and some funk there, some electro here and some classical stuff there. Find a band nowadays who can do this, and do it good. Ok, enough praise now )))
  4. And if it is not the end of the tour? They clearly had lots of fun during the gig in Montreux, what if they take a month break after the summer festivals, and end this cycle of Drones-tours with a mini-tour like they started it? Hope never dies..... Or really do Australia and then in spring a mini-tour? Hm...
  5. Oops this was the excitement... Thanx for clarifying! Yeah, great idea! If the pessimistic posts are getting too much in the other threads, link yourself here and be happy again! Peace & Love! Lol... Ps: I edited my post
  6. Yes! I am a bit between the fronts. I am happy for the people who went to Montreux amd got that setlist, but I understand the others argueing about it being at a "Festival" without proper information before. Dom hinted to a special gig in Montreux in an interview, so some expected 1-2 rarities. But not this I don't get people complaining who seen tons of gigs already, met them several times or just moan about everything Muse is doing. I also wanted to have CE in my Vienna gig, or B&H etc. But I so much enjoyed the gig that I was happy-go-lucky even without them. Count me in for a rarities-tour, if they do it in Austria. Can't go to the UK or farther..I have a job, a family, and other things in mind than travelling the world...
  7. So do you want some more funny videos? Here we go. Let's start with this one from 2006, a hosted by Muse for the Austrian music channel Gotv
  8. My first sentence has nothing to do with "I love this one"! I meant I love the photo I posted underneath, from "Globalist". The other sentence I just goofed about the pointing pic of Matt
