  1. Ah, Mizutsu, I get so happy when I see you have posted---I always know you have found some great pics for us! These are no exception. :matt: I take it these are from France at the movie release??
  2. Actually the way that all the clapping and cheering and etc etc were done at our theater was NOT in a way that interfered with the actual songs...only in between when the crowd on screen was just as loud. I guess you had to be there (as I may not be describing it well enough).....it really did make it fun!!
  3. Cydonian Princess----loved your recap and enthusiasm! HAving read so many reports about how boring the crowds were at so many cinemas makes me VERY happy I was at the theater I was at with the really FUN crowd that was there. People clapped after every song/cheered/woo-hoo'ed at appropriate times/clapped along to IS/Starlight/all the usual"clapping" songs, and at one point the woman behind me yelled out "I LOVE YOU MATT!!!!!" to which the whole theater CRACKED up and cheered. Towards the end some people were up dancing in the aisles. Sure made the whole experience even more fun...and the movie itself was just sooooo awesome for me.....the crowd just put the icing on the cake. Oh...and Cydonian Princess...you said you were the oldest one there....you would have fit right in at the cinema I was at....DEF an overall older crowd....you would have been more the average age. Bottom line...I LOOOVED the movie, SO very glad that I got to see this, and thanking the universe that Muse was awesome enough to even think to give us this experience in the theaters. Also---it sure gave us poor U.S.fans a chance to experience the "next best thing to being there" as to the whole stadium experience.
  4. Well, then you are our official reporter....let us know how it is!
  5. Very cool! Wonder if Muse knew they were doing this...??!!! Would have been cool if they had seen some of it too.
  6. My theater's site said this too, but when I went on movietickets.com (thanks, maturefan!), I was able to buy tix for Wednesday night the 6th. Maybe try that..??
  7. WOW! This is so cool! Surely Muse must know about this already... or...?? How about a tweet to Tom Kirk or Glen Rowe? They seem to like to tweet a lot...have you tried them?
  8. Amen to making music for music fans---or better yet, music that the artist cares about/making it because they want to/like it, not just to try and get it on the radio.
  9. ' Sorry for the confusion...which single were they talking about...?? Follow Me? Panic Station? Madness? Couldn't get the article to come up for me, sorry! And what the heck does THAT mean..."we'll have to think carefully about their next album.."...?!?!?
  10. Thanks for clarifying that there really IS a Muse Pa....wonder if the guys know that, or drove through it on their way to Philly/Pittsburg??
  11. Mind bombed---OMG---is there really a Muse Pennsylvania?!? And the private gig was great, wasn't it?!? :D
  12. just wanted to drop off this link to the photos from iheart for anyone who is interested---their photographer got some pretty nice pics. http://festival.iheart.com/?id=367260&type=gallery
  13. That audience should be shot for even more reasons---did anyone happen to watch last night's iheart livestream? I watched Paul McCartney's set---which was really good---but the audience was the same---DEAD!! I mean, if you can't even react to a living legend like that....JEEEESH!!!! So, Muse shouldn't feel bad---they can always commiserate with Paul. I did have to laugh though---Paul McCartney out-Mused Muse with all his pyro....jeeesh, McCartney's stage looked like it was on FIRE, never mind the fireworks/lasers etc etc....WOWOW!!! Matt should have brought Charles....suppose that would have woken up this lame-ass crowd??!! Still, though, speaking totally selfishly, I was still glad to see this pro-shot here in the US. Though I do remember thinking at the time when Muse was announced for this...uh-oh...Muse at iheart..?!??! thought they'd be waaaay out of their element with all the Katy Perry, etc fans.... but apparently Paul McCartney was, too.
  14. No, for sure!--but as killer rabbit said---pro shots on TV are still pro-shots on TV. Don't often get that (pro-shot Muse live on TV) here in the States! So def enjoyed watching it. And yes, mskatie, I would say the crowd was def worse than NCAA gig Atlanta. I agree with others on here...could KILL those people who were RIGHT THERE, touching the stage!!!!, and having NO appreciation for who they were so close to.
  15. Actually it was REALLY fun to watch live...the crowd wasn't fun to watch (LOL!!), but Matt and the guys were really on, as usual, and Matt was playing with the TV camera, and I was actually SHOCKED that they played KofC/Panic Station...thought it would just be the Top 40 pop radio hits (Starlight/Uprising/Madness) and nothing more, so was actually pleasantly surprised they did 7 songs. And the iheart people must have really sunk some $$ into the livestream or something...it was the best quality livestream video (and audio was good too) I have ever seen....on my bigscreen TV, with my stereo speakers, it really was great! Maybe I was just so damn happy to have Matt in my living room, I dunno---but I really enjoyed it!!!!!!
