  2. I think it's shorting somewhere along the circuit. I have a lot going on at the moment so I don't have the time to go through the whole circuit.
  3. I had the original in the background. If I had a backing track then I'd re-upload it with that. It's actually my DBBM. My animato is currently waiting to be toubleshooted but I don't have time at the moment. But I used the high pass filter to get closer to the animato sound.

  5. Yeah, I don't know what's up with my account. None of my tracks work properly in the straight link. Thanks! The driven bass tone was my bassdrive and big muff running in parallel with a clean blend. I'm very happy with it. Funnily enough, our drummer didn't know we were recording so that's why is fucking around quite a lot. When we record it properly (which could be awhile since we're now looking for a frontman/2nd guitarist) we have high hopes for this song.
  6. This is a new song my band has written. This was only our 3rd time playing it so it's a little rough but we're very happy with it. I'd love to hear what ye think [soundcloud] [/soundcloud]
  7. Happy birthday! :batman:

  8. It great! The tracking is prefect until you get down the the really low end of the fretboard. After that it gets hazy but still better than my old octaver pedal. I've come up with loads of ideas based around it already!
  9. I'll be picking up a magnifying glass tomorrow to check for shorting so I;ll check it then! Thanks
  10. The LED doesn't work at all. And yes.
  11. I'm going to try The PCB is so fucking small it could be anything Edit: Changed a wire on the output jack. There's now sound when engaged and disengaged. The volume pot works, but nothing else as of yet.
  12. Tested the pedal. It didn't work at all. No LED or sound when engaged or disengaged
  13. Here's some pictures of my parts before I assemble them. My Dad found another 1mm drill bit so I was able to finish the drilling. Now I just have to cut it out and then I can start populating it.
  14. I'm not installing that switch. It's to change the 2u2 cap to a 22uf cap. If I get asked to build one of these for someone I'll put on that switch as well as my one. But unquestionably in a Little Big Muff size box. I'm going to do everything in my power to squeeze it into the MXR size box, the big muff size would be easier in future.
  15. I'm planning on getting a dremel for future builds (as much stress as this has caused me, I love it!) but until then the drills I have will have to do. I've ordered the 220kohm resistor to put into front of the transistors. It's this one, right? I also have the hole drilled for my switch. I was going to put in LED on that switch, put it would take up space I don't have.
  16. Fantastic I'm getting close to finishing this. Once my PCB is drilled (hopefully tomorrow) I can wire it up (again, hopefully tomorrow), drill the holes for the pot tabs and then assemble.
  17. Crowella, I'm just sorting out my components on a sheet for assembly. You know the Silicon transistors I'm using instead of the germanium ones? Which one replaces which? I mean, which one goes in place of the NTE102 and the NTE103?
  18. I had 25 holes left to drill on my PCB and my 2nd (and last) 1mm drillbit broke. So I've to wait until tomorrow to get a new one, if they have one :/
  19. I have my PCB etched. It's rough and I'll have to solder a few of the lines to connect it up but I think it'll work!
  20. Oh ok. And yes, I was cleaning the copper.
  21. So you apply heat to the copper before you put the paper on it? Everything else I was already doing.
  22. Right, my ink transferring isn't going well. 6 attempts and none are usable. There's always patches where it isn't transferring fully. Is there some trick I'm not getting?
  23. I've already worked out a few ways to save space. All I need is to be neat with my soldering. Also, I accidentally bought 3mm LEDs instead of 5mm So I'll have to nick one from my school, I doubt they'll mind. To be honest, I'm hoping it'll replace my DBBM for my originals band, that thing takes up way too much space for what it does.
