  1. What was it about Resistance era Bliss that everyone loved so much that was never the same afterwards? It can't just be the falsetto, even if that was a big part of it.
  2. [YT] [/YT]Â Also not the best and not even a really good solo but I wish he'd kept going with it and improving it. So much more interesting than just rubbing off the XY pad. Early BH&R performances also had more traditional attempts at soloing.
  3. Pretty sure I got my first email around 7. It's probably auto-deleted now for inactivity. Shame because I'd love to see how much mail it has. I abandoned it after over 1k unread messages and that was in like 2008.
  4. Kind of, I assume it's the loading of the different preset. Doesn't really matter if you never send any CC. Just move the treadle to toe down yourself. Also while a Whammy V setup wouldn't work the same with a Whammy IV I believe it would only require some value changes to translate between the two. It's structurally the same thing still.
  5. I have it on the octave setting, which I found sounds better at least the way I've played it.
  6. Any file should be applicable to any Whammy assuming they use the treadle the same way, since MotP is all CC on Controller 11. You don't even need the Program Changes (which I know at least changed from IV to V) since it's all on one setting the entire song. I've always considered doing an in depth tutorial for this but I feel like I'd just confuse people more since there's so many DAWs and they all have different MIDI setups. Also in my experience the MIDI files don't transfer well since it tends to be done through automation in the software rather than something embedded into the file.
  7. The 2nd Law was a lot of pop stuff but the tour was well regarded, and it came out of The Resistance Tour which also left people cynical in their predictions. Bellamy is also leaving this era with more directly read complaints than probably ever.
  8. Turn up the guitar, distort the bass some more, and add some more reverb to everything and you've got something close enough. Guitar tones for basically everything were better after BH&R anyways.
  9. Side note to rebump the thread but on a similar issue it seems that venues have blanket licenses similar to radios to have public performances of any songs they like. I don't know what the radio show would have but I would assume there's something similar, as I doubt they'd get away with it otherwise.
