  1. They could easily stuff the empty slots with more duller or weaker songs. There's also the number of "unfair" rotation slots like the famed Guiding Light/MK Ultra from 2009-2010. If they threw in, say, Stockholm Syndrome, Dead Star, and Hyper Music, all of which were singles, and didn't rotate them, I don't think there would be widespread complaints. Some of the better received arena concerts still had all the top hits but with more energetic songs around them. I do agree they should move things around to give space, but at the same time they already have the space they just choose not to use it.
  2. Abso tour was still a lot of play some songs, play some piano songs, play some more songs, play Stockholm Syndrome. A little more effort than that sure, but it was hard to really not have a good flow then with the songs they played.
  3. It's usually not that hard to get a spot closer (the crowd thins towards the back). If you're all the way back there it's probably your choice. I've done it before when I just wanted to relax a bit. You can still hear. Granted it was a much smaller festival. Post festival dehydration is part of the experience.
  4. More seriously, I don't think I've ever seen enough politics from Matt to know his personal stances except on a few specific cases. Everything else has been some rambling that he probably regrets saying afterwards. I would hope he doesn't actually take the politics of a country into account for how he plays an unrelated music concert.
