  1. And this one, although not Matt's, IS cringeworthy imo "Life is short..." dull cliche +++++ And full of stuff" works only as a parody.
  2. I kinda agree. As an audio only I love the vocals, the punky aggression, the bass. Only thing is this style really only suits young-poor-angry singers. Hard to take seriously at their age-comfort level. Think it only works as the joke it is, albeit pulled off by excellent musicians.
  3. why's that then? Both songs have a cool bass line yes, but apart from that I'm not getting the similarity. Ones got a shite rap (yuk), the other's got Matt's awesome grungy rockabilly vocal.
  4. It doesn't count. Matt didn't write it. Not technically or in any other way. At least Muse's bad lyrics are generally (if not always) a bit more colourful than "Life is short and filled with stuff"
  5. The video is a total pisstake and the lyrics risible but... Matt's voice is awesome. I like it.
  6. good spot. Josh Homme said he was inspired by The Cramps "I was raised on Black Flag and the Cramps; I had always thought, "This is the best shit ever, and no one's going to listen to it."
  7. yeah - when the website crashes then no-one's buying. I think there may have been the full tour tickets available till quite late that evening if I recall. It was complete chaos anyways.
  8. It was the site crashing which enabled me to get Psycho tickets in the first place. I was on a train with a shite signal when the news landed, finally got through to Muse.mu at Waterloo station 45 minutes later on my phone. I grabbed a passerby to write down the presale code on my hand while I was trying to access the ticketmaster link, bec the copy function on my phone wasn't working. But yes, Muse ticket sales = shaking hands and chest pains.
  9. This is true (and agree about TAB) Still, it'd be good to see Trump's face in an adapted Drill Sergeant video, while Muse sing Psycho. The lyrics are perfect for him, crass as they are.
