  1. I agree with most of this. Love the run of straight heavy songs from the off, builds a great energy. Good to get Map of the Problematique, and very happy T2L got a bypass. Reapers doesn't work as a set closer, so the return of Knights welcomed even if predictable..it is the perfect closer and sends everyone out euphoric. The energy of the crowd noticeably higher at Exeter than Newport. Maybe because a higher proportion of standing to seats at Exeter. Crowd bouncing right the way to the back of the hall. Also great acoustics, looks like the hall designed with that in mind. I've got one left, Brighton. For songs not yet played I'm hoping for The Small Print, Take a Bow, Deadstar, and if we have to have one from T2L then MK Ultra
  2. I think what Matt said was that the guys down the front had requested Assassin ie he was alluding to the noise on the messageboards about the fans wanting it played, especially after the teaser at Belfast. Which is really nice!
  3. From Ticketmaster yesterday "Muse - Psycho UK Tour You just need to take your photo ID, payment card and booking confirmation – your card will be swiped at the entrance for you to get in. All members of your party must arrive together." so you should print off your booking confirmation e-mail and take it.

I contacted The Emirates about a wheelchair space. They wouldn't let me have one initially because I wasn't in receipt of Disabilty Living Allowance. I didn't claim it because, at the time, I didn't need the money, so I had to pay £50 to get a letter from my GP saying that I am genuinely disabled. It took me a week to get an appointment to see my GP and it was another week before my tickets came through. I wasn't out any money in the end as my companion's ticket was free, but all the best spaces had gone. This time I decided to buy a regular seat. I am lucky my legs are not paralysed so I can get out of the wheelchair and sit in a normal seat. The Newport Centre has been wonderful and have told me I can come in early so I can be sure of a seat. saw your post on the Glasgow thread. Really hope you have a brilliant time tomorrow!
  5. Thanks guys: it's hit and miss where to go when you don't know the venue, you're tiny and you want to dance/jump..I'll get three shots at it tho as I'm going to Exeter and Brighton as well :-)
  6. Hmmm.... I get the feeling no-one's taking my problem very seriously....
  7. hahaha believe me I've tried all sorts of footwear for gigs and festivals its such a pain being short and I have had three broken bones in my ankle from jumping about in heels! I always come back to trainers because they are best for bouncing! No, I was wondering if anyone knew the venue and what the sightlines might be like. I may have to resort to that trick of clamping my hands on the shoulders of the big blokes in front so I can jump a bit higher...
  8. I'm small (5'2") and I've got standing tix. Is there enough room on the floor at Newport so that I wont be rammed into someone's back and unable to see a thing? So....at Brixton I'm fine bec the floor is raked and I don't mind being squished. But Shepherd's Bush Empire is rubbish because the stage is so low, and the floor so rammed that there are no sightlines for small people anywhere. I didnt get seats because I need to dance, jump etc. (obv). I have no hope of getting on the barrier because can't get there early enough. Any advice?
  9. setlist? new songs? any comments gratefully received! where is everyone who went to this gig? are you gone to bed?
  10. I looked on this thread to see if there ware any rumours /ideas re future gigs , musical direction. I will no doubt be rubbished by some of you on here for saying it but this thread is predominantly a load of unconstructive WHINING. Some of you are going to too many gigs then wondering why you are bored . Most if not all professional musicians can only keep a limited number of pieces of music up to performance standard. Some of you expect their music to be as it was in Showbiz/ OoS days but everything in life changes eventually. This tour is almost over so listen to some other music guys and come back to Muse occasionally. Look forward to some new Muse material when hopefully many of us can get immersed again for a while and if you post on here PLEASE make it relevant to the thread.
