Hey there, coming out of the lurking shadows :shifty:

So is it safe to say that Muse are definitely going to be at Lolla?

I'd say we are about as sure as we can be without an official confirmation from Muse or Lolla. I mean, today Matt's escort said he was pretty sure they're doing Lolla, and combined with all the other evidence... I say yeah, it's pretty good chances. :D

Yessss, this is so exciting haha :D

I should say thank you, agenthal, for creating this thread as the first rumors surfaced, as well others updating any news!.

I've spread the word on my part and there's at least four of us going to Lolla now :)

Shit, I can't get on FB at work. What does it say?

"some news for all my desperate Muser friends! I spoke to Rob at the airport today, and he thinks Lolla is a cert, and is fairly sure of a UK date in August, which he thinks could be Reading and Leeds. My work is done!!!!"

AMAZING! :awesome: I am so excited! (Let's just hope she remembered to clarify that she meant the one in the US and not Chile :chuckle:)

A huge thank you to Catherine!

He told her that they definitely had August dates booked.

This is the best news to see first thing in the morning!:musesign::dance:

Is it August yet...

We have 6 in our room (Irene, Linda, Katie, Catherine, and I think Heather? ) your welcome to pile in if you want:LOL: ( and we will have the most fun...we got Catherine!!:p)

Just now joining the party! Gretchen, any chance you can squeeze one more into your room? Is this a suite by any chance? How many beds? Not that it matters all that much... just looking to help cut some costs and have a great time with my Muser friends! :D:dance:

Melanie I'm sure it will be fine if you joined us :) It will be crammed but we're just sleeping there. I think we got 2 beds so 4 people in a bed and 2 (or now 3) on the floor, so bring a sleeping bag ;)

But I don't want to speak for the other girls so guess we'll see what the others say but I'm ok with it.

I'll be flying in from Seattle, so not sure I want to have to pack a sleeping bag, but I'm good with a blanket and pillow.

Do you know if the Travelodge is already full? I could always book a second room and everyone could have a bed? Wouldn't offer as much cost savings, but it's just a thought. Although, like you said, we're just sleeping there. The scarier part is seven women sharing one bathroom.

Well we're having one room because we want to save money so I don't think anyone from our group will want to spend more, that's why we decided to just do 6 in a room

The bathroom thing may be a problem hahaha but whatever, I don't really care. I just don't want to spend more money then I have to.

Time to resume planning for lolla. :)

 This is the best news I've gotten in a long time! SO EXCITED I AM LITERALLY BOUNCING IN MY CHAIR AT WORK!!! Ok, sorry about that.

@Melanie: Some of us are staying in the HI Hostel. It's cheap, they provide bedding, and it's located really close to Grant Park. I've never stayed in a hostel before but I was in the military so I'm used to sharing bathrooms & bunking with other people and it's never been a problem.

THIS! If there are enough people to warrant another room at the Travelodge, I may be persuaded to go there.

This is what I'm tentatively planning on doing. I can't make the reservation until January. The hostel has said that they'll try to put all the Musers together. Yay!

Either way, I just want to be somewhere where there are other Musers, so there are people to walk back with after the final band of the night is done.

I'm very much looking forward to the largest North American Muser Meet EVER!!!

:awesome: I'm all for making Muser history.

How many people are coming to the HI Hostel? I was imagining 1 or 2 rooms full of boardies, but it sounds like more. :D We should organize a massive Muser meetup party (or three :shifty:).
