  1. Now my farthest will be Chicago to LA for LA Rising! About 2000 miles driving distance but I'll be flying.
  2. Your signature is scaring the hell out of me. :p

  3. So I just had to say I love your avatar. That moment is probably one of my favorites from that show. :^)

  4. I was fortunate to have some lovely people around me in Chicago who let my brother in law jump the queue. I got there about 9 am but he had to work and couldn't make it in until 2 pm and they didn't have a problem with it. If anyone around me had had a problem with it he would have just had to move to the end of the line. It's not like people have the right to hold line spaces for others. Maybe if you bring some snacks/drinks to share in line people will be more forgiving.
  5. Only for Muse would I even consider using Depends. I've found that as long as I hydrate really well during the day and stop about 2 hours before the gig I'm fine. As others have said, once Muse is on you really don't notice your body's needs. Also, for the gigs I've been to if you get barrier (or really close) the security staff passed out water during the show. So make friends with security! This is also how you can get stuff like setlists or guitar picks that land between the barrier and the stage. Oh, and LMAO at the "light, nervous dribble" part.
  6. What is the farthest distance you have traveled to see Muse for a single gig?
  7. You always have the loveliest signatures! And I love your avatar, too. :chris:

  8. Thank you! I'm going to have to get a copy of the Hullabaloo DVD now- that whole performance was awesome!

  9. Thanks so much for adding my keep! Glad you got your computer problem sorted out- viruses suck.

  10. It was lovely meeting you in Nashville and chatting.

  11. I'm only 5'4" and I would never dream of pushing past someone just because I'm shorter than them. It is flat out rude! And to brag about it on this board like it's something to be proud of is disgusting. If you want barrier you should get in line like everyone else!
  12. I agree- I am quite short 5'4". It's annoying when someone tall is blocking my view but they have just as much right as me to get up front. You can always ask nicely if you can stand in front of them so you can see- I did that in Vegas and the boys were happy to oblige. Or you can just make sure you get in line as early as possible to get barrier and then you don't have to worry about anyone being in front of you.
  13. Thanks for starting the new keeper thread.

  14. The only thing I would add is if you can find a comfortable pair, wear steel toe shoes. I was in the pit at Vegas last weekend about four people back directly in front of Matt and I didn't feel anyone stepping/jumping on me. I had a blast and the shoes definitely helped. The last concert I was at- Mayhem Festival in Chicago in 08- was brutal. During Machinehead I had a huge guy literally standing on my foot and I kept asking him to get off me and he ignored me. I finally shoved him really hard and he moved. I don't like to resort to violence, but I will if I've exhausted all other means. I was limping for a week afterwards. Not fun.
  15. Hi Max, just wanted to say thanks again for organizing the secret santa!

  16. Had a pretty laid back day today- looked for plane tickets to Vegas for the December show. Flying sucks and I'm not looking forward to being on a plane in the middle of a swine flu outbreak but I'll do anything to see Muse! How about you?

  17. CHICAGO, CHICAGO, CHICAGO pretty please, with cherries on top???
  18. Hello back at'cha! What part of the state do you live in? I'm in the Woodstock/Harvard area.

Thanks for the youtube video- that is awesome!!
