Thats was a great one!

One step up from a bridge- a friend of mine got the Panasonic G1. Great photos but he wishes he'd bought a full size DSLR now. The lens prices for the G1 are fairly expensive.

 

I've been looking at TZ7 and TZ10 prices A LOT lately lol. Shit, the prices vary. A local camera shop to me has the TZ10 for £279.99 and is still advetising the £30 cashback form Panasonic (ending 31/08/10).

The G1 is a bit beyond my novice capabilities!:LOL:

 

The TZ10 is £250 from UK Digital Cameras.

I still have the DMC FZ35K, I didn't even know they were about to release the FZ40K and FZ100K, - that's excellent news!

 

The only drawback is that the FZ ones are a little too big to be comfortable with

Nobody is supposed to know about the FZ38 (35 as it is over there) replacement! It was leaked by mistake!:LOL: Apparently July the 21st is the official news release date. 24 X optical zoom, 1080p HD and an articulated screen!:eek::D

 

My FZ18 is the same size as it's successors but I didn't find it prohibitively big, I just made sure I used the neck strap.

Guy in the camera shop said that the main issue with the TZ10 is the GPS - apparently it eats up your battery like mad, and if you want to switch it off to save battery, then you have to do that every single time you turn your camera on.

sad when they heard your accent they didn't even mellow. I've been on holiday and heard rough people from N. Ireland put the head down and just ignored them - I go on holiday to get away from those sort of ass holes. A wee bit like the ass holes you are talking about. You always have to be aware of your surroundings at a gig.

 

It was ridic. She was being all dead on with me when I said I didn't hit her and then turned into a complete cow and started pushing back. The fact that she was smirking annoyed me even more. What a moron.

Yeah you'd think those from your own parts would chill out and be nice to one of their own but no apparently not.

Totes. It's frustrating because I wouldn't want to physically fight someone but jesus christ you can see why tempers flare at gigs and the likes.

 

I had a few little rows like this one. I just don't see why I should have to put up with such cuntish behaviour, I paid for my ticket and no fucker is going to ruin it for me! :mad: Anyway, you were dead right having a go at them, letting them do what they like just encourages them to be worse and also encourages other cunts to follow suit.

I have a Samsung ST550 (apparently also known as Samsung TL225), and both sound and video quality are great. It´s an HD camera (720p), huge memory, small camera, easily sneakable, front and back LCD display. The only drawback is the zoom mute. It bloody doesn´t record sound when zooming..it sucks ass. Does anyone know if/how I can sort that out?

 

Anyway, here´s a video example from Rock in Rio. I wasn´t aware of the zooming beef then... now I know the trick: never zoom out :LOL: . I can´t complain though, camera was a gift :D

Panasonic's new bridge cameras have now been officially released for anyone who's interested:)

 

The FZ45 (or FZ40 as it is known in the US) is the successor to the FZ38 (FZ35 in the US).

I had a look at that Laura Whitmore's twitter (that one off mtv) cause she was at Oxegen reporting apparantly. She replied to someone to say that mtv were not covering it.

 

She said: 'not on MTV sadly, we didn't cover it this year'. So not sure if thats inclining that someone else is. Doubtful anyway, particularly since RTE didn't broadcast Muse's set on the radio. Oh well.

The only place to get the TZ7 is on amazon now and it says that theres only 7 left, so my only option will be the TZ10 when i get round to buying it. Is it as good? Im guessing its the model up? surely thats the only reason theyd get rid of the TZ7.

TZ10 is the model up all the advantages of TZ7 + complete manual function that the TZ7 doesn't have... However apparently one main downside of TZ10 is that the GPS function uses up the battery life like mad.

I'll just have to take Pips advice and buy an extra battery, as long as its as good as the TZ7, some of the videos from Oxegen look fantastic, whereas mine usually come out rubbish, all you can hear is the bass.

 

At least now, ill be able to get some good videos of the next two muse gigs :D
