For what it's worth, the only thing that bothers me about my mirror'd guitar is the edge itself...It can dig into your arm after a while (it's not THAT sharp, but just a bit uncomfortable)

 

Nothing to do with the contours. And I don't find my tele (which has no contours at all) uncomfortable to play at all....though that doesn't have binding.

The SimS have some sort of "chrome wrap round". Does anybody know what it actually is? Would it look allright with the mirror?(if I have it on the back and sides and the mirror on the top).

 

That is what's on the bomber guitars. If you're happy to spend £350 on it, go for it. If nothing goes wrong, it can look amazing!
