Normally I see complaints across the board for a lot of artists when it comes to loudness. I mean this is evident with Muse's latest offerings anyways. Were their older records loud? The title is a bit hyperbolic but they do have a point (youtube being the main resource for new music for a shit ton of people). Spotify normalizes volume too I think. The end of Dead Inside in particular was grating in certain ways but couldn't pinpoint it.
