Claudia O
It'll make the muse use a different outro riff, which will be nice. Maybe they keep the outro riff and float over to the next song, "Psycho" , that would be great! ( i mean live)
Tobiiiaaas
I don't know about you guys but I'm super stoked to find out what the tracklist is. I get the feeling we'll be able to spot whether the CEII track made the cut based on its title. Same, I can't wait to see the tracklist. If CEII does make it, I hope they don't just call it that. Not that they would but you never know...

Don't really mind the name Citizen Erased II. It's basic, but if it's the conceptual sequel then it makes sense. I like it when albums have part 1 and part 2 of the same named song etc.

bbgunn34
They played the piano from the intro of Take a Bow at the start of the Absolution tour a few times.. Everyone thought that was cool, how is this different?
Utterlystique
Muse just posted one of my favorite live riffs into a song. It's heavy. It's the sound people are aching for since TR. And now you are discussing how good a song Survival was? I'm confused (and dazed)
CitizenAroused
I imagine Psycho will have the Psychological Abuse intro, then continuing with the first riff played in the last IG tease, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, "i'm gonna make, i'm gonna break you, i wanna make you a fucking psychooo!", 0305030!!! Probably I'm wrong, but it's fun guessing.

"Citizen Rewritten" would be clever though as a title, pun on it being a sequel as well as keeping the lexicon of writing.
Claudia O
Maybe the album version is 9 min long, and the radio version 3 (without the intro and without the fucking psycho..)
Hopix
Citizen Reformed or something along those lines would be cool.
CitizenAroused
Wait did I miss something? Is that going to be part of the lyrics? Yeah, it's in the instagram clip. Listen to it again more carefully. I didn't catch it at first either.
Black4bird
Citizen Drones. *Riff* "DRONES!"
jonisdead
Citizen Reformed or something along those lines would be cool. It would make sense considering the context. If this album is more conceptual than Matt lets on then it could address the rebuilding of someone's identity along similar lines that 'Psycho' seems to address. Arcanom
Citizen Drones. *Riff* "DRONES!" Drones can be citizen erased ii. Think of it as citizens are manipulated and turnt into drones. DRONES!
yoyonco10
If there is this supposed Citizen Erased sequel, my guess is Matt meant it more as it has the same lyrical and musical themes as CE, not a literal second part to the song called Citizen Erased II, who knows though
jonisdead
Guess it'd make sense. Considering it seems to be the first track he wrote judging from that interview, and since it influenced his approach to the rest of the album. "Drone Denizens" sounds better to me than "Citizen Drone(s)" though.
Claudia O
So a new rumour? drones is a sequel to Citizen erased? Ok, let's talk about if for pages and we'll find it on the net in some days i guess we have a power to spread "news" like the apple event, hm....some journalists are reading the board...and twitter
jonisdead
Might be bad timing to drop the single this week if they're hoping it'll top the charts, because Mumford and Sons just dropped one today.
