  1. Matt could be INFJ even if the test is screwy. INFJ's are concerned with issues, but mainly appeal to emotions and the humanity in the issues. Which fits "Drones" very well. They're are also sometimes mistaken for extroverts, but will occasionally have to withdraw even from those who are close to them.
  2. The reason I didn't mention the drone part because that actually sounds very plausible. If anything, freedom will be restricted, but not outright outlawed.
  3. Alright, in ten years time freedom will be outlawed. Sounds legit. On another note, completely love the video, it makes Revolt better.
  4. That, plus it wasn't released soon enough to chart. This isn't a song for the fall and winter, it's for singing along to in the car on the way to the beach.
  5. If Muse released Revolt as the first single here, it definitely would have been a hit. But I think it won't do much now.

  7. Soooo..... the subtleties are basically the story paraphrased except replace everything with "Globalist Elite?" I mean, I get what you're trying to say, but you essentially just paraphrased the story. I know the album is about the evil "them" brainwashing our protagonist who was burned by an unfeeling lover. The hero than breaks free from their control, and leads others against the oppressors. He then returns to a loved one for comfort. Then the world blows up. Thank you for explaining what you saw in the writing and taking the time to reply.
  8. Question: there seem to be more threads where people are talking about the subtleties of the writing on Drones even though almost unanimously the lyrics were slammed for the exact opposite reason, being way too simple. I'd like to hear the "subtle lyric" people talk about this.
  9. Of course Muse go to Boston right after I move to the west coast... Edit: more of Midwest. I will see Muse live one day!
  10. That's exactly what a crazy person would want us to believe! (Maybe starting this thread wasn't a good idea)
  11. Not in America. You mention Muse here, and most will just know Madness. I don't know, I just found it interesting. It may be BS, but it was interesting anyway. Also, I didn't take the personality test on that site. I was just interested in others who had the INFJ personality among film and music.
  12. Hello! I took a personality test and came off with INFJ. I was looking at musicians who had this personality, and both Bellamy and Wolstenholme have it. I have a theory that those with certain personalitys are drawn to certain artists like Muse. Do you think this is true? Let the discussion commence!
  13. I want them to just lose their minds in a studio. Make something a little unhinged. Even if there were no lyrics and just vocalizing. Maybe a couple collaborations if they feel like it. I don't know. I feel like "Drones" was sort of like a reset. They proved they can make good music still, and now they can just do what they want.
