  1. Those octave harmonies are so early b-side style. Some song but I forgot which one. And the whole song has this dark tone which I'm loving. That's what really makes it Muse-y to me.
  2. I really like this one whoa. Is the main riff guitar or synth?
  3. I'm still also pretty sure I posted the first guitar cover of Supremacy. I was moving to university the next morning and still I neglected packing to learn it quickly. Crazy day really.
  4. Follow Me was also great and Panic Station had some energy that was never really recaptured on tour. I still prefer T2L's production to The Resistance's (mostly the guitar tones and drums during Unsustainable) but there was still something sterile about it that Cologne overcame entirely. I also remember someone (Dee?) hearing it via a fucking phone call.
  5. It was a big difference only being a few days before release but also all the studio versions paled in comparison to those performances. It was probably my favorite day on this board as well.
  6. It's not like I've been to many. And Rock Band at home is less embarrassing to do by yourself.
  7. I've never seen a karaoke machine with Muse on it.
  8. I'll try this later but I've already won a different entry that will result in me going to LA and I can only take so much of that area in a short time window.
  9. I would not call that a favorite. But it is hauntingly relatable and the verses are so creepy it's such an interesting mood. There's some darker emotions on Origin they never came close to touching again in later music.
  10. But why? All those songs are so long ago anyways they start to blend. Any reasonably big fan is still gonna look them up, probably get YouTube recommendations, go on Reddit where they can see discussions for everything and get the same updates we all do, get excited for the big request shows. The time Muse started to grow in popularity here is getting further and further behind us. There's fans of legal age now who are as old as Shrinking Universe.
  11. I still don't find it a whole lot. I really want to see how it's done live though.
  12. The thing with those blatant comparisons is that it's just a guarantee to be a lesser version. I like Unnatural Selection, I'll probably like whatever other sequel they're doing, but I'd like to see them try a little more than that. The Handler was a sequel in theme only (maybe the ending style I guess) and it was better for it. It was not a new style for them but it still didn't feel like a Part 2.
