Needs moar Showbiz and Absolution! I'd love to be able to add SFA, Showbiz, Muscle Museum, Assassin and AP some day.
True. I still can't believe they omitted Sunburn, Bliss, SFA, CE and City of Delusion from the HAARP dvd. I don't think they'll even play Blackout in Rome, they'll probably end up just using the lightbulb/acrobat stuff for *shudder* Guiding Light.
Yeah very true. I did notice barely any empty seats at those U2 shows, and the GA was more full than when Muse played there both times. I never understood how so many shows can be classed as sold out but still have empty seats, is that all from touting?
U2 played 2 nights at Wembley in 2009 and sold them both out with ease, I think they might have set an attendance record (at least for a time) for the first night.
So last week I was helping a friend record some bass parts for an upcoming project of his, and we had 20 minutes at the end of the day to record a cover of Soldier's Poem. My friend has a really husky voice and didn't fancy singing so I decided to have a go. I am in no way a competent singer (as you'll be able to tell) but we had a lot of fun giving it a go! I know SP isn't exactly the most loved song on the board but I wasn't brave enough to attempt anything else
Edit: I'm aware the bass is a little too high in the mix (at least with headphones), wish I'd sorted that. Any other feedback would be great

Though the Origin part is bullshit, I'm also sensing a hint of truth in that tweet, I really think they'll bring Dead Star back for the summer now. Matt clearly knows how much we all love it, and like Dee said it'd go down a storm in a stadium. I know I'd be really happy if they did a similar set to the arenas with the inclusion of Dead Star and perhaps Fury.
Awesome that they're thinking about playing it, not my favourite song from Absolution but it'd still be good to hear it. Surely they must know that if they play it in Japan then suddenly drop it they'll have a lot of pissed off fans. Here's hoping they keep it around for the summer gigs, maybe rotate it with Fury or SFA?

I only recently discovered the pro-shot's from this show. Great performance of MK Ultra, with a brilliant little scream from Matt at 2:23 Lots of energy from everyone in this.
I thought it was a good performance. Considering it was so late on in the setlist and also as part of a back to back gigs, he coped quite well. It was far better than the performance on the Austrailian tour (Brisbaine i think?) where he really had trouble. I wonder why they haven't considered dropping it half a step though? Matt must surely know how much of a strain it is for him.
