  1. Yeah something like that would work for me.
  2. Either the algorithm is out of wack, or Ticketmaster US is asking for $300 for standing tickets to the Boston gig.
  3. NME Magazine has a Muse interview as their online Big Read this week: https://www.nme.com/big-read-muse-together-electric-dreams
  4. A quieter sale than expected does help with my idea of considering non-UK shows. Now just to work out what that one is.
  5. Quite something Paris and Milan already are sold out with second nights announced while for here, it looks like a huge quantity of tickets are still waiting for buyers. Wonder if they suffered a bit for the extra wait pushing the sale back a further week from payday. I still imagine Bristol might well happen tbf. Though fuck knows when they'll announce it.
  6. I mean if nothing else its good to hear this project is still planned to be on.
  7. How do I get the free album that's apparently included with the gig ticket purchase?
  8. Say he wants to do something other than do the big London show. Books London show. Same as it ever was Still thinking of a non-UK pairing though, if not sure where. Indeed. I'm pretty sure as well that the retractable seating it has when football is played goes back for these, so the seats are even further back than in a normal football stadium. Can imagine as a performer it looks pretty sweet though. Best for me has been Wembley of the London shows, but mainly because the Emirates was painful to get out of afterwards and the Olympic Stadium may well be likewise. Twickenham, I gather, is also awful to get out of, although I was unable to get tickets to U2 there so don't have any real ability to compare it.

Something Human (50-50 version that starts acoustic before going electronic) 19. Mercy 20. Bliss 21. Psycho 22. Stockholm Syndrome + riff + riff 23. Take a Bow
  10. Pretty sure 3/5 is one of their higher Pitchfork scores tbf.
  11. Well... finally went for London Stadium, so there here we come. I think I'll do Manchester for something else. Axl Rose being punctual is perhaps the most surprising element of the whole GnR Not In This Lifetime Tour tbh. Wasn't it Dublin where they got bottled multiple times for being 3 hours late? Huh. When I bought tickets for events in Paris and Milan earlier this year, it provided the option to automatically use English. So quite odd the Czechia ticket site didn't provide the option. Also shows what I know as I thought the Prague show was all GA.
  12. Oh yeah when I went there for the Depeche Mode gig photographed on the last page, I was genuinely taken aback at how wide it was. Sort of similar in a way to how the Live in Rome DVD looked. Certainly, one sees the West Ham fans have a point when they complained how far away they are from the pitch. And I doubt pushing the seats forward a little really helps.
  13. Looked into doing that one... was it ultimately a hugely elaborate affair?
  14. Genuinely bemused how this is £10 more expensive than the Manchester gig... is it that more expensive to rent a stadium in London for a night? Or is it something to do with the absurd costs of building this thing twice over? Saying that, having initially considered the Etihad instead, the fact the train from my nearest stop to Manchester makes up for the price gap and the hotels up there were all £100+ mean this one may well be what I go for instead.
  15. I have genuinely no idea what I'm doing. Should probably figure it out one way or another tbh.
  16. Oh is this the stage they have by the back straight during the USA Formula 1 races that Justin Timberlake played a couple of years back?
  17. I'm not really in a position to rate things yet. Only real thing for me is that its between Algorithm, Dark Side and Break It To Me for top, with Blockades as an outside favourite. Break It To Me seems less divisive than Propaganda IMO, although I'm aware some people don't necessarily rate it. I'm still not quite on board with Propaganda as of yet, although I'm closer to it than I was when I started and decided on first listen to go elsewhere. I have warmed up to it, and I like the vocoder riffing and the slide acoustic solo, but the whole package (in both electric and acoustic version) is still proving a bit odd to really get my head fully around. Oh yeah it wipes the floor with the LP version. Hopefully with all this talk of bringing lots of extra performers with them that it gets a crack on the upcoming tour instead of the Madness clone original. Even if I like the solo and final chorus, the difference is pretty vast.
  18. I'm faintly puzzled why the map for Manchester has a GC but London doesn't. Which means I'm expecting a surprise to be hoisted on it when they go on sale tomorrow. Not least as Manchester has a smaller stage halfway inside the venue like the US arena maps had. Not expecting this to be cheap, mind, given Paris' cheapest tickets were more expensive any of the others I checked and I'm expecting this to be similarly priced. To say nothing of the frankly excessive VIP prices above. But then I haven't seen any indication how much this is going to set one back. Huh thought the Stones would charge more than £90 for non-GA standing. But yes that gap is enormous. I do recall seeing that for £20 for a pair of "pot luck" tickets to the Stones, you could get tickets sitting you anywhere from the back to the golden circle... that's actually a pretty decent idea IMO. Would've fancied that for the London Stadium gig with Florence and the Machine but first I heard was after it sold out. As per usual. Tbf with Depeche, I was mainly befuddled because I had a £30 voucher as a Christmas present so my ticket was closer to half price anyway, and where I stood was actually pretty good, but I did think an extra £10 wouldn't have been that bad, and naturally found out about this after I booked it. Probably my fault for not paying attention. Yeah there's been a lot of venues in London of late where I've seen or heard post-gig congestion to be fucking dreadful (Finsbury Park after QOTSA was appalling). Hence my belief the Hackney stations might have less traffic as most people would be going back towards Stratford Westfield. But I bolted during Depeche Mode's final song because I was sure I needed the head-start, which did get me there fine, but to the wrong platforms - was aiming for the Overground as that was how I got there from Euston via Highbury & Islington but got re-routed to the Central Line.
  19. While I did get a code for the early album thing, my member one hasn't re-set even though it has sent a new password. Without being able to prove it, I wonder if my members account is held under my old e-mail and it didn't change when I changed my one for the forum.
  20. I think I'm getting it, but not 100% there yet.
  21. I get the feeling that as the new main site doesn't recognise my e-mail that I would need to create a new account, but because its brand new, it may not be eligible for the new member site pre-sale. May as well take it on the intonation that its going to be album one or out, given I really don't fancy my chances in pre-sale. I seem to recall the Stade de France gigs on the Resistance Tour having Golden Circle, but the Unsustainable Tour shows not having one. Seating plan on the London Stadium website did not have a Golden Circle, so I'm not anticipating one. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Yeah I get the FOMO thing. Guess no Muse gig in 3 years+ by that point means I am quite keen, even if I'm aware it'll be different to the by request shows that I'm still smarting about missing. Still, would prefer GA for a stadium show. Even more so if it was the London Stadium gig - from when I saw Depeche Mode there, the GA area is enormous even with the Golden Circle they put in.
  22. Quick lookie says £105 for GA, and £145 for Golden Circle. Twickenham's is all sold out, which is an achievement at those prices.
