  4. I like Explorers. Or at least I think I do, given that I don't think I've heard it in 2 years.
  5. Chicago and NYC I could see happening, but the iHeartRadio gig in LA is in January, and that would be a very quick turnaround to shift tickets, even if Los Angeles is a key market for them and they've sold multiple LA shows out on the last 3 arena runs. Saying that, 21 Pilots are playing some of these shows and their US shows in some of these markets are already on sale.
  6. Is the LA Forum a possibility? That seems a bit more empty. Saying that, didn't realise how busy the Staples Centre was. But then I guess having 2 basketball teams and the shit-ton of games the NBA book means I shouldn't be that surprised.

  13. Golden circle at the front was an extra £10. Although I bought mine at a discount with a Ticketmaster voucher I got for Christmas, so I still could've gone for that.
  14. I effectively bounced out through the crowd during the last DM song then pegged it to Stratford station. Maybe it would be easier to go up to Hackney Wick station for the way back. Least on the way there, Westfield Stratford makes a pre-show dinner easy.
  15. Header says 2018. Saw Depeche Mode at the venue last year. Quite decent for the headline even despite their golden circle rule, but had to run early as I expected the rush to leave would be bad as I've heard terrible things.
  16. Guess its a wait and see job. Was a little disappointed as I was considering New York to help fill my ambition of USA in 2019, although I checked speculative flights for the week of the show and got north of a grand a pop... maybe not. Manchester is the UK show I'm more game for as I just fancy something different to the usual habit of London then train home. My first choices for a European date had been Lisbon or Rome, but the idea of going to the tour opener in Prague interests me.
  17. Forgot about that simultaneous release strategy for both LP's.
  18. He wrote, before noting that Budapest, Graz, Riga and Krakow were all indoor. Looking at the dates, its odd they did the big tour reveal poster when Pressure was released, then duly released a tour schedule that features several places not on the poster, and omits a few that were. Which begs the question of why do that, even aside from the whole "preorder album to get priority ticket access" thing. I like the idea of the VR games based on tunes from Simulation Theory and hope they might release these after the tour, but I really don't enjoy playing VR games - the helmet doesn't really work with my glasses, given I can barely see without and crush my face with. Saw videos from previous Depeche Mode, Kings of Leon and indeed the 2013 show there. Looks like a great venue to see a concert at.

  20. If it is true they're going through with the faintly ridiculous idea of having dancers, I'd be intrigued to know if the US arenas and EU stadiums dictates a different rule for how the show will look and where everyone will go. I'm willing to presume they'll do neither. Not least if Matt has said Madrid is going to be the full stop as someone said earlier in the thread. Agreed with both. Arctic Monkeys had a unique poster for all their cities played on their own tour. Some of the designs looked amazing. Would've thought immediate tbf - the US shows are relatively soon. Presuming the Europe announcements will be in spring.
  21. MTV are meant to be broadcasting something tonight as part of the EMA's tonight, aren't they?
