  1. double post, because fuck you i'm spiderman. Did someone say remix? Bloc Party - Flux (Twicx Remix) [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/twicx/bloc-party-flux-twicx-remix[/soundcloud]
  2. So then I'll just remix it and it can be "Your band - Your song (Twicx Remix)" or whatever.
  3. Feels like it should have this kinda vibe, but with WAY more bleep bloops, sub-bass, and some sort of vintagdisco glitched throughout the breaks in it, but that's just my take on it. It could go many many ways. [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/twicx/daves-dave[/soundcloud]
  4. There's something very... Wolfmother about that. But I like it! Kinda have an urge to sample it and put some dirty ass drum beats and maybe some funkadellic disco synth on it. Tasty bitch is tasty.
  5. Selection of tracks I've done recently. Still needs a lot of work though. "The Taking of Pelham One Two Three" [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/twicx/the-taking-of-pelham-one-two[/soundcloud] "Shinji Ikari" [soundcloud] [/soundcloud] "Lionel Richie" [soundcloud] [/soundcloud]
  6. fixed. Yeah I never really understood the whole thing about balancing cabs with certain amp heads. It confuses me how a 4x12 can sound shit with a 100W amp head, but then sounds tasty with a little 1/4W amp head. maybe if it was explained in metric.
  7. "closet" to you lot. Probably have to measure the size of it in foreignheight or sommet. "Yeah it's 11 and 7/8's inches to the back of the 12th century on this one." here's an accurate graph to help you understand: On more relevant news, jaeaaems, that amp is a nice find. Have you tried it with any of your other amp heads?
  8. the theory is, take a range of notes from bass, recorded clean, then use all sorts of fun VST's in ableton to make it more ridiculous. For example, I've one called Saussage Fattener, which is a multi-band saturator. Basically makes everything sound a little compressed, and very saturated. Fun little tool though. I've the Guitar Rig VST for Ableton too. I took a square synth and put it into that the other day. Squarewave + marshall plexi preset = wait, what?

  9. Wow, that good a recording from a toanport? pretty decent! I've been trying to find a decent clean bass sample pack. They all suck so far. I'm trying to find someone with a decent bass setup, or at least something relatively ok for recording to see if they'd record something very very very simple for me that I could use to make bass lines.

  10. I was out and about when you spotted the Singing in the Rain thing, but thanks for that. I'm not great on film names, but thats been bugging me for ages. I knew it definitely wasn't the earlier suggestion of "porn." Thanks bud!

  11. nah was just being hipster. So far it's very impressive. I need to sit down later after work and go through things like my midi mappings etc, but so far, I'm very impressed. I'm going to pick up a little 20 euro wireless keyboard in work too, just for convenience. Had a go of the Kaoss Quad while i was in the shop. They're not that bad really. I could see myself considering one in the future.
  12. hahahaha! You can never have too much spidey!

    Did some one say spideybirthday?

Thanks for the cake. :) <3

  13. aaww <3

That totally made my day. Cheers buddy :)

  14. old'd. The guy behind ohnoho, lawrence, said that he was looking into it having an input, ie, for guitars. Where is your erection now?
