  1. yeah... over here in shops like Marks & Spencers or Superquinn, they have "cookies" but they're like brownies. They're big (about 6 of your foreign inches) in diameter, they're softish; kida chewey, but they still have big chocolate chunks in them. I'd call them cookies. Biscuits tend to be crunchier. So Oreos, I would call biscuits. I had those double-stuffed oreos when I was in NY. They're awesome, but after 2 or 3, I just felt sick. The single stuffed ones will do me just fine. For those of you in the UK/Ireland, I think the chocolate oreos are remarkably like bourbon creams. both equally yummy.
  2. Twist it, lick it, dunk it. Isn't that how you play plug in baby behind your head while spinning?
  3. biscuits are on the desk, just to the right of the laptop, below the books, the blue packet. It's a nice guitar. I wasn't mad about the way the pickups were, except for when it was set to middle. It was pretty noisy, particularly when i was using things like blowing up. all is better now.
  4. so, a lot of this gear the prokittens will recognise, basically my guitar setup. It's not really connected all together, cos I need some new power supply based stuff. Waiting till i get a job to get some sort of power block, like maybe the harley benton one, cos it's cheap. In any case, it goes: Spear Relic RD White (Yes, I've modded the controls to suprasecret settings ) > Digitech Whammy > Eighty Seven Percent Issue 3.3 > Line 6 Constrictor > Ohnoho Blowing Up > EHX Big Muff Pi (Tone Wicker Edition) > Eighty Seven Percent Cannon > Vox AD30VT The other setup I'm using is my laptop/djing/whatever setup. That goes: PCSpecialist Vortex II w/Akai MPK Mini > Kork miniKP > Acoustic Solutions 100W Amp > 2xPioneer CS444 Speakers (you can see half of one of them behind my guitar, the other is on the other side of my IKEA NONGORM) I also have my iPod into my laptop, so when I'm working, playing music out of those speakers is tasty. My headphones are on the desk too, they're Panasonic RP-HTX7's, and by far the best headphones i've ever come across. There's also a very good architecture book on the desk, called Elements of Parametric Design by Robert Woodbury, but that's not that relevent. /permaban Can anyone identify what tasty biscuits I'm munching on tonight?
  5. which posts? a lot of my ones in knt are shite.

  6. yah see it looks real grainy in that. I can never remember how you get that. I think it's a high shutter speed thing. nice guitar though: edit: I'm not building you a DSLR. ololol! Yeah i've a tonne of builds planned for the summer. Right now, I'm getting the parts together. The simple builds are first, just to get me back into the swing of things, but the order is something like this: 2 x boosts 2 x fuzz's (one of these will be yours hopefuly) 2 x tube overdrives 1 x hybrid reverb Thank fuck I'm finishing architecture in 15 weeks.
  7. You say it like you're posting on topic. Infraction much? On an ACTUALLY RELEVANT NOTE, is there anyone here that uses a dslr to take their gear photos? I'm considering a new lens for mine, and it would be good if i could get one that would make taking photos of future projects, including some effect pedlols, a bit better. I'm thinking a 30mm or a 50mm with a really low F.
  8. open A isn't that far off Hotel's tuning. I have my LP to his tuning so I can The Kills. P90s sounds good turned down through Blowing Up.
  9. ableton with a fuck load of plugins. Everything from Massive to Glassviper and Autotune.
  10. fixed, and since when have we allowed noobs to use our memes so early into them joining knt. If ever there's a time for the old ways of the whammy, its now. also, cocks. should be getting my new laptop this weeks. Photos of my dubstepilepsy setup will follow.
  11. ololol! why was there racism brought into the last thread? was it gayracist? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diVbqbAqtP4
  12. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT!? 40 posts early? jaemz, modfail to the max! I expected better from you.
  13. yeah, that would be putting it simply. It's very difficult to explain. Saying darker and smoother could be describing the Rams head one, but it's not like that either. It's different, but you can still tell it's a muff.

  14. had volume seriously low for this:

VERY interesting. Cannon, as expected, is much smoother, but keeps all the gain of the Muff. Distinctly different tonal qualities, and I couldn't really pick a favourite. One's as good as the other imo. The plan now, is to have the Cannon set up for non-JW sound (Vol @40%, Tone @ 40%, sustain @ 100%) and the Big Muff set to JW settings (Vol, Tone, Sus @ 65-70%). One pedal closer to my perfect setup i guess.

I think the finish on this, between the red and the inlay work, probably beats james'. That being said, i do like that one you did before with the brian may pickups. Can't remember the fancy name for them...
