Personal Information

  • Biography
I'm a student at LSE (doing economic history), I live just outside of London, I love rock music (obviously) and going to concerts - I have 3290 songs on my iTunes (which is expensive when you don't illegally download!) and by Sept 11th 2010 would have been to at least 14 gigs.

    London

    Muse!

Plus reading, listening to music whilst walking, in bed, or dancing crazily around the room (be it bedroom or a more public area), watching movies, gigging, hanging out in the local Weatherspoons, occasioanally braving the London clubs (love the KOKO)...

  1. I was rather surprised to hear 'Time Is Running Out' on the soundtrack of Gossip Girl. I feel a little less embarrassed about watching the programme now. But interestingly, it's a violin version (season 2 episode 'Chuck in Real Life', about 23 minutes in)
  2. Even though it's sappy, i love the chorus of endlessly. They would make great wedding vows lol also love 'passing by, you light up my darkest skies you take only seconds to draw me in...' '...and woke up to know that I was alone wearing just socks and a phone...' hehe 'you make me sick because I adore you so' 'i've had disturbing nightmares I was loved for who I am. Missed the opportunity to be a better man' and many many many more
  3. i dreamt last night that i was at a very very small muse concert. no special effects or anything. just a simple stage. in fact, im not even sure if chris and dom were there! there were about 50 people spread throughout some sort of auditorium type place and matt kept walking around all the seats and singing directly to us and he sung the chorus of endlessly looking directly at me pretty sad dream, but it seemed awesome at the time
  4. Some of these suggestions are great. I can definately imagine them doing keane, or 'are you gonna be my girl' but would never have thought of them although as a rule I'm not a fan of covers, sometimes they're Even better than the original and in muse's case I definately think feeling good and can't take my eyes off of you are brilliant. Probably because they are songs that werent originally rock songs. Thou I like their other covers too everytime I listen to radiohead songs I think muse could do them better, but they already get slated for supposedly copying them as it is
  5. i didnt realise all those songs were underrated, cos they're some of my favourites! i really love bliss, and exo-politics was one of the first songs i got into on BHAR in fact, the only one on the list that i dont think of as a particularly great song is escape, but im sure that if i go listen to it now ill change my mind lol plus, i think endlessly is probably underrated. i love that song and maybe darkshines? and i reckon the groove is too good not to have been a single

    hey dom, you rock!

and i don't just mean your awesome drumming. you also probably have the world's coolest collection of coloured skinny jeans lol

    see you at wembley!

  7. grw

hey, thought i'd tell you that you're an awesome bass player!

just in case no one has pointed this out already lol

boosting the bass on the EQ has made me appreciate muse songs on a whole new level!

thanks for all the great music, see you at wembley!

  8. grw

PS I think you're a genius and there is no one i admire more, but you REALLY have to sort out ur fake drumming skills/French pronounciation! Lol x

Hey matt! Just thought I'd thank you for the music, to inadvertently quote abba. I can't go a day or night without listening to you guys. Love the new album, especially the more unusual songs I.e. Undisclosed desires and I belong to you - and already dying for the next one to come out. Also dying to see you at wembley in sept! First time I've managed to get standing! Fingers crossed I'll get to the front and actually be able to see you properly! Though I did almost manage this at the nme awards - I was the blonde girl in the muse t shirt on the balcony screaming fanatically when u got best band lol. Was also very pleased that my hottest male voting didn't go to waste! :p (Wish we could convince you that you deserve it though!) Was gutted you didn't perform thou :( it's what I was secretly hoping when I bought a ticket. Ah well!

utterly rambling despite knowing you won't ever read this anyway, so I'm gonna shut up now lol. Hope ur well, and keep making albums for years and years to come (and please perform in London more often!!)

  10. assassin - but i never stopped listening to it intentionally. i somehow accidently deleted it from my itunes, and because i often just shuffle all my muse songs i never noticed it was missing! thou come to think of it, in your world, agitated and nature 1 i only recently got into shine acoustic (i meant, NOT nature 1) is so beautiful i have no idea why it took me so long to appreciate it! and it was so appropriate when i was listening to it yesterday on the train, looking out my window at the rain, actually made me appreciate the crappy weather! lol
