butterfliesallhavinfun Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Nice one Ben, you and your brother had a great weekend by the sounds of it
Mimmi Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 That's I was there too. It was such a lovely day. After an amazing and unforgettable concert Saturday. And yes Chris is such a nice guy! So calm and friendly.
Spittle Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 http://thelichfieldblog.co.uk/2010/09/13/burntwood-brothers-play-football-with-their-wembley-hero/ I remember seeing you guys. I was on the England team, wearing no.17, Johnson's shirt. I kept yelling "Come on, England!". I also had a great time. If I hadn't spoken to Chris, I probably wouldn't have played. =)
Tofu Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 I wasn't there, but that sounds absolutely lovely!
softailkel Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 http://thelichfieldblog.co.uk/2010/09/13/burntwood-brothers-play-football-with-their-wembley-hero/ LUCKY!!!!! Totally amazing -- thanks for sharing with us boardies!!!

meganne2003 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 This is too cool. Wish Chris would organize something similar in the states. I would totally play if they let ladies play, but I would be happy just to watch 2 of my favorite things: Muse and soccer!
hikaru_bloom Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Congratulations!! You were on the Muse Team! I loved the review. Thanks for sharing it!
hypermusic Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Chris should organise a match with Rivers Cuomo
wiske Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 http://thelichfieldblog.co.uk/2010/09/13/burntwood-brothers-play-football-with-their-wembley-hero/ Chris scored the third goal YEAH,Man of the match:thumbsup:
IngeVS Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 oooh, so sweet!! Maybe Chris should organise a game here in Belgium. Not a bad idea if you notice he scores in every match now. He could teach our national team something...
anasthesia1 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 you are so lucky I would give everything to be able to meet Chris and play footie with him Chris is the man
benlowe Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 Thanks for your kind comments everyone! One of the happiest afternoons of my life.
Patryk Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Chris should organise a match with Rivers Cuomo That would be epic haha. Great read though glad you guys had a blast!
choco_chia83 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Ben, did anyone ever tell you you look like that guy from The Killers?
benlowe Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 Yeah I get told I look like Brandon Flowers quite a lot, which is a compliment. My other lookalike is Jack Whitehall (the young comedian), but I think that's just because we're both tall and slim with big, dark hair!
