You got Reason is Treason???? :supersad:

Yes :D

I went nuts when Tom mentioned "we are gonna play that old song from our first album called Reason is Treason"!:awesome:

Tbh at the end of Kasabian I wasn't sure if Muse were gonna be able to top that performance as they were in great form but they obviously managed too, I am glad as well that we moved back for Muse for we had some room to move.

The Muse mentality is a bit backwards  Rarer songs at festivals, a long set of hits at their own shows.

The main thing about last night is that those songs have energy and the stuff they cut down from Glasto was largely the slower numbers.

Inorite

Exactly, more rock show last night!

Kasabian had the perfect balance during their set yesterday: they played their main hits, brought a song from their first album they hadn't played in a while Reason Is Treason and played a B side as well "Julie and The Mothman" and everybody around was having a great time even though they might not have known all the songs and the fans present were happy with the "rarities"

:yesey:

and julie and the mothman went down sooooo well, people were having such a blast during that song - it even got a sing a long going!

yes, it's baaaaaack :awesome:

Your video is great! Thanks!

Must not have been easy to keep a camera steady and deal with the rain and mud and the greatness of CE at the same time...;)

Actually where we were wasn't really muddy thank God but I had to hold the camera above people's head to get a good view of the stage and halfway through the song my arms were killing me

I really hope videos of SS and KoC surface as the performance was awesome and TIRO as well as the riff at the end was awesome.

I just can't help but think Matt trying Showbiz now risks sounding the wrong side of awful.

I have the same feelings... Also, wasn't it a BH&R era interview, where matt said there's only 3 songs off Showbiz that he would feel right playing any more?

If that was said around BH&R times, i imagine that number has only gotten smaller, and we've seen that cave would be one of those 3? :(

We know all three of them, Unintended, Sunburn and Cave. Since they've played them all in the last year.

I think if matt had have played cave or sunburn in the second piano slot, it would have been a perfect set (for this tour at least), incorporating songs from every album.

I've just woken up.

A Showbiz song would be lovely. I've seen Sunburn loads but it's so much better as a live song than Feeling Good (which really only redeems itself even a little bit because people know the words)

It was Sunburn, Muscle Museum and Showbiz. They were the only three (apart from I think a random play of Uno) that was played off that album from 2003 until Unintended reappeared in 2007.

Sunburn would have taken the setlist from A to a A+

The 2nd quote in your sig  I remember screaming when he mentioned the messageboard and shouted "we're at the back!"

Pretty good setlist:D I hope they'll rotate the songs more often like this.

If only they played songs such as Space Dementia, Sunburn, Micro Cuts, Butterflies... That would please the fans more:D Anyone agrees?

Yeah I know. But I mean, not only once. More often.

Once is a good start. If they thought the reaction was good enough, maybe it will make a more regular appearance. They've played Bliss a few times since the Casino de Paris.

I'm hoping this gig will make the boys realise that they and their audience will be far happier if they're a bit freer on stage. It must get so dull playing the same songs in the same order night after night.

I heard matt said something about the message board? what did he say..anyone know?

:shifty: yeah,I went through all the previous pages, altough I didn't want to do it.

Well,as I can remember,Matt said that they're gonna play and old song, hope we remember it and said, for the message board,of course. :chuckle: I hope that someone has a video including the speech.

About my yesterday's tweets.

Chris bass was being tested really loud, many people cheered.

Dom's yellow panties - they were green,I suppose though.:facepalm:

What Matt said after TIRO riffs was ''zega ziga!'' or something? :erm: It was before SS.
