I MEAN that this is the most generic of Muse's new stuff...which suggests that everyone is happy for them to keep churning out the same sh*t which is quite boring in my opinion because there's a danger of people saying [non Muse fans this is] "oh yawn we've heard this all before, is that all they can do?"]. But then there were the people who think SBH is generic, just not generic Muse. I like Starlight, and I don't care if it sounds like their other stuff, nor do I care if non-muse fans don't like it. I do prefer it when bands move on, unlike Oasis who are stuck in the 1990's thats why their albums just get worse. And I liked the White Stripe's new album because it incorporated loads of new ideas. I like SMBH, it's a good song, it's a new ground for them. It's great SMBH made the first single, and I just looooove all the negative feedback it produces. It's a really good sign. But at the end of the day, songs that involve feelings are the ones that "touch" me.
