Honestly it's a really crap tune. I think it's a shame it's been released. The riffs are quite nice actually but the "singing"/"rapping" is sooooo bad. It ruins the entire song. I've always thought The Streets is crap.

I cant imagine muse are stupid enough to use someone elses music, unless they've had permission to re-use it? But even then i doubt muse would re-use someone elses music, for The Streets to just rap over it.

I think it was confirmed as a jam session. There's a video for the song and it was played at the end of staffs v festival on the speakers.

it's not someone elses music, it's just a simple riff and it sounds a lot like any RATM riff or any classic rock riff from the 1960s onwards really
