Hat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbS3TaI54N4 dat Space Dementia with dat scream and DAT outro Micro Cuts sounds funny without vocal effects. The spiralstatic guy who complained about Matt having to take breathing breaks in Micro Cuts these days should have a listen to this.

Hat
He should have just made falsetto Eb5s the main notes of that part(in studio) and instead spent his live A4s on City of Delusion.

kueller
More surprising hearing him do it now rather than when every performance it was expected.
Jedi of Cydonia
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92TLSRM2fg8&t=3m45s mm yes I think I can see and understand why Matt doesn't do the guitar parts before the solo anymore because it is pretty nuanced and subtle and doesn't really fit the atmosphere of arenas/stadiums but I really love that part! It's really interesting to compare that performance with this performance. I wouldn't really say either one of them is that technically much better of a performance than the other (although I favor the SNL one). I just think they are different kinds of performances, one being very intimate, and the other being more fitted to bigger venues.
Hat
More surprising hearing him do it now rather than when every performance it was expected. Well yeah ofc. But checking out the Jools Holland performance again I think I might still prefer that tbh.
Regilistic
Has Matt actually ever attempted to hit the final note in Sing for Absolution? I'm sure I've heard it somewhere.
Hat
Has Matt actually ever attempted to hit the final note in Sing for Absolution? I'm sure I've heard it somewhere. There is a performance where he goes for it and switches to falsetto in the middle of the note but can't remember if it was the original key. Yeah, the one where he switches to falsetto mid-note is original key. Why did you take down your YouTube-account btw?

Jazzthief
He only does that during the first verse, when that part isn't played anyway. Well, then he can't be a rockstar for the rest of it.
