I want a custom 6 string bass which looks interesting as well as sounding like Timmy C's Jazz. I want my own recording studio and hundreds of peddles, a few amps, a couple of guitars and a drum kit.

oh wait, I already have all that. Maybe I should want a piano or something?

Isn't this already the GAS thread for some like me?

I feel like I might be the only one that doesn't have a dream list, partly because I don't know what I want as a whole but mostly because I know Ill never be completely content with what I have.

Maybe a proper recording studio of the sorts and a Rickenbacker, just to say I own one.

Bentley you will hate me, I recorded on a Blue Rickenbacker 4003. It wasn't the greatest bass I've played but it was fun.

thanks

and nope, my bank account is currently overdrawn

Whats the difference between the Fender Deluxe Reverb and the Fender Twin Reverb?

I'm not all that familiar with Fender amps, but I know that the deluxe reverb is 22 watts and has a single 12" speaker, and the twin reverb is 85 watts and has two 12" speakers

Isn't this already the GAS thread for some like me?

I was thinking this at first, but there's no harm in leaving it.

I think this thread is more "what would your ideal setup be?"

whereas the G.A.S. thread is more I WANT THIS! NO WAIT! I WANT THAT! NO I WANT BOTH!!

I figured it was different. Just for some one like myself, I haven't got a dream set up.

If you asked me if I wanted a P Bass with flatwounds about 6 months ago I would have laughed. Now its kind of up there with that dream list or what not.

Ill come back to this with what my set up would be.

I'm sure there was a similar thread to this a little while back but I'm not sure what happened to it. To be honest I'd say I've pretty much got my ideal set up now. I made a list about a year or so ago and then made a mission of going through getting each one and ticking it off. I've got basically everything now apart from the custom guitar and the GR-55 that will go with it.

I've always wanted a wine red 335 with gold hardware and a Bigsby, block inlays. Probably through an AC30 head into a 4x12 cab. I'd probably stick with the pedals I have now, maybe one or two extras.

But then I dunno really, it changes a lot, and what I have now suits me really well so its hard to say.

A studio would be veeeery nice though.

my dream GUITER setup would go something like this:

Guiters:

Effects:

1 MXR Microamp

2 Line 6 M5 + Expression Pedal

3 Ohnoho's Blowing Up

4 Fender Amp Sim (I'd build this)

5 High Voltage Vibracaster (I'd build this too)

6 EHX Big Muff Tone Wicker

10 EHX Pog 2

11 Ohnoho UtterStutter + Boss Delay in Loop
