Yeah I thought this as well lmao. And you can clearly see Morgan playing the synths during the video

fixed.

Some of the tones in general were horrendous at that Paris gig actually - the EM solo sounded crap

Defector is decent, just soiled by the rest of the song for me I guess. Reapers was a bit all over the place - only part I really like is the whammy part at the end when it comes back to the chorus progression - and Revolt while working in context of the song was ehh. Now that I think about it, the last time I was really impressed by Matt's guitar work was probably Animals.

I actually kinda like the song aside from the "You've been bitten by" bit. But then I quite like Thirty Seconds to Mars so I'm probably desensitised to all the camp sing a long bits Was also trying to work out the other day the last time I actually really dug a Muse guitar 'solo.' Not really been a big fan of Matt's recent attempts at all.

Been running this on guitar lately and it's kinda fun. Flow would be a little whack if it was an actual setlist though most likely. {D.S} Psycho Reapers Supermassive Black Hole {Interlude} Hysteria Bliss {Ext.} {Maggie's Farm Riff} Map of the Problematique {Who Knows Who Riff} {Drums Intro} Citizen Erased Showbiz Time Is Running Out Madness Fury {MWaH} Knights of Cydonia Assassin {Ext.} Stockholm Syndrome {Township Rebellion Riff/Execution Commentary Riff} Take a Bow

Fuck that Showbiz was honestly so good. It was great at Reading but that one just had so much more oomph in the smaller venue. Still can't believe I got to see it. Also everyone shush Glorious was amazing

Sunburn would be epic as well, shame the piano died a death

I'd love to hear Map live simply because I've not heard it before and going off their Japan setlists it's a possibility. Would be great to get something like Assassin or Dead Star or something but I just don't think it's gonna happen sadly
-
Doubt we'll get Showbiz. Probably more likely to be like what we saw in the US for the final leg of that tour where they got Butterflies & Hurricanes and Take a Bow.
-
Night 1 certainly looks to have gotten the better deal - despite having seen Showbiz twice this year I would take Map, Showbiz & The Handler over Hysteria, Stockholm & Take a Bow in Sydney next month any day.
-
May have to try and get a Red Alert Goddammit.

Surely can't be the case. He got through four gigs in England/Ireland over the Summer without it in the set while still playing some of their more vocally challenging songs - Showbiz played at Reading/Leeds and of course, 90% of the SBE set - and still sounded fine by the time Knights rolled around.

Any y'all seen Biffy recently? They're coming here in April but I haven't seen them live since 2010 and don't know if they're gonna be worth the $90 this time round with how poor their last album was.

I actually really enjoy Madness live these days. I remember it being a bit of a dour moment back when I saw it in 2013 but at Reading while it wasn't a "highlight" it was still enjoyable and watching back videos of it played recently, the second half especially sounds so much better.

Yeah I definitely felt overall that his tones packed more of a punch during the second half of the set but i thought Assassin was fairly solid where I was. Maybe it was just the euphoria of hearing Assassin live for the first time that skewed my perception.

I like. Would look cooler with black hardware though.

My hope/expectation for Sydney - don't expect anything too special but I've been seriously lucky with sets this year and they might surprise us !
