  1. I think all the Matt Blacks etc fit with the Drones dull and dark aesthetic but I'm surprised with the aesthetic of Simulation Theory - lots of neon, bright visuals etc - that he's carried that on and not gone for anything a bit more emphatic.
  2. Go on Matthew!!! EDIT: Quite like the stage design. Like the pillars from last tour but turned more into blocks
  3. Side note: This guy's covers really are incredible.
  4. I don't hate the group I just cba reading 3 pages of people going off about them... again My tired, dumb ass thought that was celery at first and was like wot but now I understand Probably because that's what the shipping service they use have quoted them.
  5. Will be interesting to see which singles they choose to make every gig guarantees alongside that and which are rotation. Get the feeling SMBH, Starlight, Madness, Knights, Time Is Running Out, Uprising and possibly Psycho are going to be guaranteed which means there's probably 14-15 slots (70 odd mins + a drum and bass jam and some faffing) taken up.
  6. I'm both horrified by it and excited for it if that is the case They did mention Dark Side. Basically just called it typical Muse which is a fair description imo. "Over-the-top guitars, chord drama, rock punch, Queen choirs, Brian May solos, glam riffs - also in 2018 they play their music with capital letters. Best example for this is the intro "The Dark Side", a typical song. Guitar arpeggios, opera style vocals, mega chorus: that's how Muse works."
  7. Ah i didn't realise. Since seeing Matt's one I've just been wondering how their acoustics would sound/feel if they did make them! Yeah Andy's always look gorgeous and from the clips I've heard of people playing them they always sound so crisp.
  8. Fair point - everyone's going to define things in their own way. Tough to know whether they mean guitar-y as in riff based songs like an Agitated or an Assassin, or just songs with guitar featuring in them.
  9. TDS has guitar in the intro, choruses and the breaks between chorus and verse alongside the solo. Is it complex? No. Is it there? Yes. Same with Dig Down. Sustainer in the first verse, arpeggios second verse, solo and then the out-chorus thing. Not complicated sure but still there and still decently prominent.
