You aren't exactly new here, but like Tjet said, you should post this in the U2 thread in the Other Music subforum. No reason to see why this should be an exception, your question isn't directly relevant to Muse. Tbh I was expecting you to ask "what if Muse did a similar thing etc. etc." Then again, Album Seven thread.

That aside, I do wonder what Muse will do with their label aside from their own records.
-
So wait, they're starting their own label now? That's interesting. The music is pretty mehh, I don't think it's Matt. Come on guys, it's named "Baby with the Blue Knitted Hat". Must be Bing.

I'm assuming since it's been awhile since Zepp's been mentioned, the reason he brought it back up again (other than to troll and stuff) is because Zepp is getting released. Speculate all we want, but it would be kind of an arse move to not release it now.

Obvious influences between Muse and other bands
Raiga Kagekami replied to Zepp's topic in Songs & Releases
I definitely hear some Muse in Royal Blood but I think I hear QoTSA more. But they have potential. You don't hear New Born in Civil Sin's chorus? During the bridge when the vocalist is singing...or "ahh"-ing also reminds me of Muse. -
Obvious influences between Muse and other bands

Some bands that are/maybe are influenced by Muse - (disbanded ) (and formerly known as Reckless, may ring some bells) Tacado - Carnage (It's been taken off from their old YouTube account, but I still have it) The intro of (and which the verse I find a bit laughable after that heavy intro) -
Faster Louder: Matt features on Kimbra's new single.
Raiga Kagekami replied to Kazy-Babie's topic in Muse In the Media
Caught me there. Then again I believe a similar sound can be done on a guitar, and my assumption is based on that. Still want my question answered. -

I only hear Matt in the first half of the chorus, and even then the guitar is pretty covered up by a crisp synth (or I think so, dat crispness though). It's an interesting track, not something I'll listen to though. What do you call what Matt does at 1:24 and 2:26? Guitar newbie here. -
Mythbusters - Muse Edition <insert caption here>

I bet they played Muscle Museum. Muse must be only able to play it once every 6 years and then the pedal disappears, explains why they forgot.

Learning Station - "Panic Station" Parody
Raiga Kagekami replied to darknebula's topic in Creativity
Nicely done. -
That made me think of angels, doing God's bidding. Or something. If that's the case then it's pretty cool that the mirror man and the All-Seeing Eye man are sitting across each other, as if they were opposing forces. I suppose the guy in gold represents the rich, looking to the All-Seeing Eye. As much as I think where they're looking is not terribly intentional.

From their Facebook page : "Early Christmas present for everyone: Plug In Baby from Muse - Live At Rome Olympic Stadium. " But I hope there is a separate one for the board members.

Shit. Anyways, I'd imagine it'd be something like - Exogenesis Part 1 Supermassive Black Hole 'Dead Cuts'....or more realistically, another hit Sing For Absolution Isolated System Starlight Knights of Cydonia Sure, if it does to you. To me, it's more about looking at the finer details. In Part 1, there's part of the lyrics about how the protagonist laments being trapped in God's program and how essentially we're destined to die anyways. Makes me think for a bit.

Gonna skip some questions seeing as they're already answered. 4/ In Shrinking Universe, who is Matt talking to? I suppose corrupt politicians more than religious figures. It's like how their 'ideals' are destroying the Universe, so there's really no reason to live anymore from the protagonist's point of view. 5/ Will Muse ever play a concert in space? They may, but they probably won't be the first. Preparation and all that is of course required. I'd say they play 5-7 songs. High chance they'll play Knights of Cydonia to end the gig. 8/ What do you think will be the name of their next album? And what will it be about? Christmas the Apocalypse. (at the end) https://soundcloud.com/triple_j/matt-and-dom-from-muse-chat-to Or in all seriousness, Fallout. 9/ In Thoughts of a Dying Atheist, is Matt talking about him and talking to himself, or is he portraying a random atheist? As mentioned, partly him, partly someone generic or random. 11/ In Exogenesis, was Matt inspired by a book in particular, or is he presenting his own "vision"? I'd say both. 12/ What is the meaning of the Exogenesis Symphony? What are the links between the three songs? Part 1 - Humans face the inevitable end of the world. Part 2 - Humans decide to send other humans to another planet. Part 3 - The other humans realize that if they don't want to face extinction, they need to learn from their mistakes. 13/ Would you like to see another symphony from Muse, or do you think they should stay away from classical music? Not for the next album. 16/ Do you think Matt's reads about MKUltra made him paranoid? To some extent, but it can't simply be placed only upon reading MK Ultra. It's an accumulation of years of reading such material. 17/ What unexplored theme do you think Muse should talk about in their next album? Communists, consumerism and goat/sheep sounds.

Brilliant interview. "Post-apocalyptic Christmas", gosh.

I think this is a pretty good cover. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-xNaLj0b5s Otherwise it would have been a great opener to TR.

Seems like Dom was really looking forward to performing in space first.

Wea...I'm not gonna do it. My brain hurts reading OP's post. But yes, Liquid State can use some outro riffage. Something like how Bliss was extended live.
-
Kinda hilarious, now that it sounds like a 'world-peace' song.
-
Oh Ravi. If they wanted to sell ringtones on their website they would have done it ages ago.
-
Was. But seriously what's up with the multiple times their twitter got hacked?
