    He wasn’t necessarily correcting him. They could barely hear eachother and Matt simply seemed to repeat it because he was unsure what Ted said as well. Pretty common thing to do. And there’s an obvious “T” sound at the end of the word.

    They cover other people's riffs at every single gig, and Feeling Good is one of their most played live songs. I really doubt they ever said that.

    Oh I know what you mean now. Doesn't sound like Matt laughing though. Just sounds like a lower vocal track that goes on for half a second longer than the lead track, because because of effects?

    I think Matt said in some interview that the plan was to release 3-4 individual singles before putting them on an album together with 5-6 unheard songs.

    The fact that fans of a rock band are okay with a playback performance is so strange to me. And it’s not just a “joke” because both Chris and Dom take their parts very seriously, and they if they had an ounce of self awareness they should have realised by now that it’s not coming across as a joke, at least not a funny one. I get that they tried it once. But to continue to do if after it has gotten such a strange audience reaction every time is just delusional. But hey, as long as people are fine with it they’re gonna get away with anything.

    And it was a good one as well. He didn't do it back when I last saw them...which was in 2009. Damn.

    The latter half of 2017 was an actual step up for Matt, and I would assume that it was because the breaks between gigs were longer. Showbiz did indeed sound great, but he didn't sound that good in 2016. This is an example of Micro Cuts in 2016: I mean that's a reaaally bad sound for falsetto. Could go into more detail but time for dinner. As for reason: Age, intense touring and probably some vocal problems in 2015 which were never fixed in time for the touring to start. Both Spectrum and I have said that it sounds like he's developed or at least is developing nodules (which doesn't necessarily affect your whole voice btw, which is why some songs can still sound fine), but we'll see.
