I think there's a problem with the reverb tank. I ended up just taking it out and have never bothered buying a new one. I just use the reverb on my RE20 how although it'd be nice to have the spring reverb back.

Pretty sure it was Eurotubes. Probably a one off. I think the first set they sent one of the 6L6s was bad, maybe damaged in postage. They sent a new one out no problem, then I had a problem a little while later with the phase inverter or one of the other little ones.

Ha yeah, I didn't have a great experience with JJs. I thought my amp was fucked because I had basically new tubes in there, after stripping it bare and my tv/stereo technician grandad spending a few days doing mods and checking everything out before giving up I switched the tubes around and released one of the JJs was blown already. Should have checked the valves first huh...

i enjoy seeing proper luthiery like this. It's a big step up from bolting a neck on a plank and giving it a nice finish like the rest of us do on here...

Yeah, stripped it quite a while ago and sold on anything that was worth selling. Shame really but it was a solid lump haha.

alloy guitar, that tuner i bought off you, boss re20 and the ycv40. everything else is gone! well, i still have the cracked mirror guitar, that pretty much lives in it's case, and the EC replica is in the spare room stripped for parts pretty much waiting to go to the dump!

Nah nothing wrong with it, I just prefer this shape. The black one looked really long to me, especially rounded off.

Barely played it in the last 3 months. Maybe 20 minutes tops. I much prefer it to the black one though, a worthy sacrifice. I'd like the black one in this shape, that'd look good! As for selling, as much as I like to I'd be too worried about someone not being 100% happy with it. They'd have to play it first I guess.

I'd just use a heavyish fuzz or distortion and back off the guitar volume a little for the verses

what i did at one point in put the whammy in a true bypass loop with a EQ in the same loop. Use the EQ to get the tone back to how it was before you brought the whammy into the loop and then bypass the whammy and the EQ when you aren't using it.

FF and whammy don't seem to mix well. You could try the wh4 in your FX loop.

Sounds like volume swells, reverb/delay and the harmonic mode on the sustainer to me.
