if you wanted it at all, i have a pretty good video of the start of Butterflies and Hurricanes, but its from the Manchester gig, is that a problem?

yeah sorry it all needs to be from the wembley gig, but thankyou for offering.

 

I've no idea what to do with one of those :p Is it a video file to be opened normally, or does it need a special kind of software...Or is it like an image to mount in DaemonTools or something?

 

A vob. file will have all the DVD info in it like the menu etc so when you run it through a programme (nero for example) to burn the DVD it will turn out as intended with the menu page etc on the finished DVD.

 

Liam mate great idea and like someone said you are a true credit to the board! :) But I still can't watch the teaser, every time I try to it says it's private :(

I will buy a physical copy of this DVD once released, I'm dead serious.

 

Sorry but I wont be selling the DVD, im just making the DVD for myself and other Musers to have that special night preserved forever, and im sharing it freely, Im not doing it for money.

Seriously man, you're contribution to the Muser community is immense. I know I'm an opinionated little twat a lot of the times but you are one of the people I respect the most about this place. You take the time to do all these things when you don't have to, you do it for US, the biggest bunch of moaners ever :LOL: I think I speak for everyone when I say we all appreciate the work you put into these shows together and your videos as a whole. Your dedication to the grind has made a LOT of Musers VERY happy, something even the band can't seem to do at the minute :LOL: So thank you for taking your time to do this and everything else you do.

 

You keep us all happy and entertained. :D

So...You put the VOB file onto a DVD-R and then play it as you would a normal DVD? Or have I missed something...Also I don't have Nero...Is it free to download? Or is there other software that is that does the same job? Thanks for the help...Everything still coming together?

and if you need a hand editing wise, im a post production student and would be more than happy to help.

The Uprsing vid is incredible!

 

I was also wondering if you will be posting version to Youtube or making .avi standard quality versions for download. I believe you mentioned doing it as a torrent, but I dont have any programs to get torrents becasue my laptop is already slow as it is. :(

Some of the uploaders may not want their footage converted to avi, but if its ok with them and theres high demand for avi's then i will :)

 

Where can we download Casino de Paris multicam DVD you made?? and when we'll be able to know you have finished the Wembley gig?

I have the entire gig in proshot from the side screen and in parts incorporate this into the edit by using a split screen feature (like i did with the RAH edit) and this is just an example.

Just a quick update so everyone knows how the projects progressing, im about half way there now, all's going well, and Im hoping to have the dvd up for the one month anniversary of the gig.

 

thank you very very much for doing this - the uprising trailer on youtube is....wow. ok, now I've finally noticed (at least) that you are takeabow19 :awesome: me and my friends had great times with your vids in videochats hehe, just sayin. But....why you deleted the one with zane lowe again :supersad: we were like :'(
