Studio: Invincible>Starlight>Follow Me>Madness>Undisclosed

Can't comment live as I haven't seen Invincible, though I preferred both Madness and Follow Me to Starlight at the Emirates.

Starlight was the worst closing song ever :stunned: I dont understand why they couldnt change it with survival, or anything else really...

This. Anything but Starlight, it's a real mood killer to close on.

nah. second best. fourth if you count all three parts.

Why would you count them as a single arrangement...?

And still no, Unsustainable is better than Overture, which is the second best arrangement he's ever done.

edit: oh wait, Isolated System is better than Overture too.

I seem to have a lot of controversial Muse tastes compared to others on these boards. To name a few:

- Starlight is my favorite song

- Explorers is great

- Fillip is really good

- Guiding Light isn't the best, but it gets more hate than it deserves

- The Resistance is a good album

- Take a Bow, Hoodoo, Blackout and Ruled by Secrecy all bore me

But I love Citizen Erased and Dead Star, so I'm still one of you guys right? :D

To be fair I wasn't a huge RBS fan initially.

me neither, but once I realized how perfect the song is I just keep looking back on how silly I was for not liking the song. I think its definitely a grower. You have to listen to Muse for years to fully acknowledge the true beauty of some of their songs. :)

Maybe I should clarify that the studio version bores me. I know everyone raves about how great it is live, but I've never heard it live, so yeah...

Never heard it live. but I believe it is totally massive live. The album version is just beautiful. The song got whole new meaning to me once I looked up what was the lyrics about.

Take A Bow, Hoodoo and RBS are boring but Explorers is great?

waaaaaaat

Explorers may be a bit slow, but I feel like Matt puts a lot more energy into the vocals than he does on Hoodoo, Blackout or RBS.

To be fair, Take a Bow is growing on me a little more. I just didn't like it when I first heard it because the "burn in hell, burn in hell, burn in hell, burn in hell" got repetitive really fast.
