jimminys_gal
Does anyone know why dark shines was left off the dvd but put on the cd? Just found this out on the rage thread, :'( ! Darkshines is a bonus live track on the Japanese DVD, and not on any other DVD release even as a hidden feature but its a standard track on the album. I think I will go and cry now... :'( , such a cool riff :'( . *holds the tears back*
Guest Roo
Dead star - live (studio version seems bland ) Microcuts - live Citizen Erased - live! Live! LIVE! Sunburn - album (i dont like it on the piano) Showbiz - LIVE! I love that track Megalomania - live/album Uno - live (though my friend reckons it sounds like popcorn at the start ) Screenager - live (its a bit weak, but dom plays three instruments at once!) Feeling good - live/album Space dementia - live (oh yes! ohhhh yes! it rocks!) Muscle museum - live Cave - live New born - live (the wait between the piano and guitar is amazing live!) Hyper music - album Agitated - live In Your World - album, with no piano it sounds strange Unintended - live Plug in baby - live, that intro is worth waiting for every time Bliss - live is alot better
theimpressiveclergyman
More or less everything live. I was going to say album for Newborn, but I like the way when the riff's about to kick in, everyone's poised to mosh, and it seems like he draws it out a bit more, just to tease everyone... Could have been my imagination, but there you are. I like the way Chris's backing "Yeah-eh!" on Deadstar is louder live too.

I love newborn live but I reckon the contrast between the soft piano and loud grungy guitar is more powerful on the album. Chris needs to be way louder esp. when matt is screaming, u can hardly hear him. Deadstar on the album is rocking but I still prefer live, just. Whimpers
One of the main reasons why I love muse so much is because of Bellamy's piano playing. This, however, can sometimes suffer during a live show. For example, Cave is my fav track, yet in Hallabaloo he didn't play the piano bit on the piano... and I hated it. On the contrast though, Megalomania sounds so much better live because the piano playing is so much more obvious/louder/better.
theimpressiveclergyman
I miss Chris's cool "slap nylon" intro in the live Showbiz- but I think the guitar solo sounds better live because of the echoey amplification.
the italian mafia
dead star and in your world are better in studio version...and i cant really be bothered talkin about the other ones. wait... space dementia is really good live because they play it much quicker (i really like space dementia, i won ma school music comp with it )

Yeah I totally agree for ne1 who has seen them live recently in TIRO matt plays the solo on guitar and it just ain't the same! :'( ! Same on hullabaloo with Sunburn I reckon! Matt Bellamy
Ok I feel really stupid for asking but I have wanted to know forever......Im in America...does anyone know of a website where I can order a copy of the Hullabaloo DVD so that it actually works on my dvd player here? Ive looked everywhere and to no avail....maybe I just suck...any suggestions? I just checked on amazon.com and ebay.com and neither have Hullabaloo. I'm pretty sure it's region free so you could but it from ebay.co.uk and have the seller post it to you in America. It's an awesome DVD, a great performance and amazing DTS sound so you should definately buy it. Any way, Dead star - live Microcuts - live Citizen Erased - live (it was awesome at the big day out in sydney, go d/load it from DC++ now) Sunburn - studio (I prefer the piano intro and ending to guitar) Showbiz - live Megalomania - live Uno - live Screenager - studio (although it's cool to see Dom play drums & xylophone together) Feeling good - live Space dementia - live In your world - live Muscle museum - live Cave - live New born - live Hyper music - live Agitated - live Unintended - live Plug in baby - live Bliss - live
So Low
It's been buggin me for ages, I dunno why. It's a really trivial thing, but, as the subject suggests. Were there a support band/s at the Zenith gig when Muse recorded Hullabaloo? And if so, who were they?
Elouan
Hm, probably zita swoon (oooh i luuuurv them!) or millionaire
Imperium
ive actually wondered that but never bothered asking, just look at the tour dates around that time and see what you can find, hullabaloo wasnt a one off gig i dont think, they just decided to film it, you will find it somewhere but its most likely to be one of the two mentioned above
