kueller
I saw a couple of tweets suggesting the crowd wasn't big. One tweet called it the smallest they've seen for a headliner. Take that as you will. They were kinda out of place in that lineup especially as a headliner.

I read a tweet from a guy who attended the last time they played Coachella and yesterday, he said yesterday was half of the crowd.
Picko
Apparently the crowd really thinned out by the end as the dust storm kicked in. Plus the late hours probably didn't help, as mentioned. I heard they pulled a reasonably big crowd for the most of it though.
serpentsatellite
I can't imagine sticking around that late unless I specifically went for that band. Otherwise I image I'd be worn out as shit from being there all damn day and probably already hung over.
Hat
I don't get people commenting on it being late. Who isn't up until 5 am at a festival anyway?
kueller
I'd blame the dust it always looks packed in prior streams.

serpentsatellite
Depends on what time I got to the festival. If I've been there for 11 1/2 hours already, if I don't really love that band, it can fuck off. I've been baking in the heat all day, am probably dehydrated, headachy, and have to poop. JessicaSarahS
The sun + heat is very dry and draining. I tend to leave around 11.
Hat
Well I don't actually go see bands during the heat unless I really really love them(in which case I might go). Sit and drink all day and then go see bands when the sun is setting.

Alexander DeLarge
So what's the general consensus on Lithium being shown tonight?
Hat
So what's the general consensus on Lithium being shown tonight? More likely than songs like KoC, Starlight and SS imo.
Alesi08
Lithium and B&H would be perfect.
Alexander DeLarge
Lithium and B&H would be perfect. I'm really curious how B&H sounds considering it's probably the most difficult song vocally from last night. It's just constant belting out vocals with a little falsetto at the end. FabriPav
I haven't seen a full video of it but I'm quite sure he avoided that falsetto, judging by the rest of the night

FabriPav
Simon do you expect his voice to be better next saturday? If no sandstorms are involved, that is
Hat
Definitely. I don't think his voice is that bad atm, I think he just tries to avoid straining it (with falsetto stuff) and thus both sounding bad and possibly ruining the voice for next weekend too. Sorry, but this was probably the worst muse gig I've ever seen, despite having one of the best setlists in years. Matt's voice was far from where it should be. He shied away from any high notes, left out tons of words, and didn't even have a lot of power for the notes in his comfortable range. I feel bad for the guy, but he shouldn't even be playing gigs right now. Edited to add that the heavy winds wreaked havoc on the sound, too. Totally out of the band's control. Regilistic
If they do happen to stream B&H tonight, that'll be the first proshot of B&H since BH&R tour, right?
