DeadStar01 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Where is this quick questions thread I keep hearing about? And how about Electric Tree or something daft like that?
Russell_A Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Jeez, that's three words oh sorry, how about: "new-thread" (he'll like that one) or "K&T-Quick-Questions-Thread" (revised version)
JimboMansonMB-1 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 My band is after a good one word catchy name?? Any thoughts?? Or anything you got MUSE.
james90 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 does it have to be something like "muse" ? because "paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis" is perfectly catchy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24XKakJYWls my favorite mexican grind core band <3
Russell_A Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 my favorite mexican grind core band <3 Rather you than me.
laurie_muse Posted October 27, 2010 Author Posted October 27, 2010 oh sorry, how about: "new-thread" (he'll like that one) or "K&T-Quick-Questions-Thread" (revised version) Good One.
haze015 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 because "paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis" is perfectly catchy Need to go for Welsh town names if you want something simple and catchy; "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch"
Russell_A Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Need to go for Welsh town names if you want something simple and catchy; "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" OH YES, is it sad that I know that off the top of my head?
haze015 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 OH YES, is it sad that I know that off the top of my head? I'm more embarrassed that I don't. To be honest, it's the small names that are by far the worst in Wales
Neil. Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 lets have less trolling and more relevent responses... firstly, laurie_muse there is a quick questions thread stickied in KnT for these kinds of things. on the topic of band names, maybe if you told us a bit about your band we might be able to have a better idea. Otherwise, i'd say westlife or five, if they aren't already taken. or twilight. i don't think anyone hates anything with the name twilight.
Russell_A Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I'm more embarrassed that I don't. To be honest, it's the small names that are by far the worst in Wales Its creasing hearing (usually English [no offence]) people attempting to prounounce places like Rondda, Cyffylliog and Llanelli. The list goes on... God help any Americans...
Don'tPostThePear Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 go with something low key but spell it like an irish or hungarian would do (we actually spell words just like we pronounce them, try to wrap your mind around the concept)

DeadStar01 Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 The Monster Party That actually sounds pretty good EDIT: If no one takes it I think I might
Lexical_Whale Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Its creasing hearing (usually English [no offence]) people attempting to prounounce places like Rondda, Cyffylliog and Llanelli. The list goes on... God help any Americans... Got a mate from there and it's a word I just accept I'll never be able to pronounce. It involves syllables that just escape me. Living in Wales most of the time really does make me feel so incredibly English mind!
cheddatom Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 "Cunt" It would get you publicity. Yeh but spell it with a K or something. Similarly: Fadge Twat Faggot I like "Leavings" but I think people would call you "the leavings". Beef Dripping and the Mouldy Curtains is my favorite
