  1. I love this video. I was thinking of saving up for a good amp, but after watching this I think I'll just save up for a Kemper somewhere down the road. There'll be lots of moving for me in the foreseeable future too, so I'm glad amp modelling has gotten this good Effects, on the other hand... The FFF made me suddenly want to own a pedal board
  2. Thanks so much I love it. I really enjoy setting 2 and 3 - the youtube reviews don't quite show how much fun they are to play with. Love toggling between the 3 settings and hearing the insane low end fuzz The FF7 looks great. The thing about the FFF is that it... picks up radio signals when my guitars are muted >"> Should I copper tape the inside? that would sound great actually. Tab pliz?
  3. You should try the FFF Jaicen. I got mine on Saturday, haven't had much time to play with it yet, but so far I love the 2 new octave down settings.
  4. Damn, I lost track of your guitars James. Since we saw the holey a couple weeks ago, I kept assuming that it was already delivered (hence me thinking this delivery was for something else ) Don't forget the DR-1 too
  5. Where is here? They're playing at my old college town too last year they played a secret show at the same venue - obviously I didn't hear about it until the day after These look like small club shows for the album promo though. No doubt they'd do a bigger arena tour next year. The DC location has a full capacity of only 1200 - I really want to go to that show.
  6. Damn, I was hoping that good fret wires (Dunlop maybe?) would be better. I guess not :/ Try this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-Guitar-Pot-Potentiometer-Metric-500k-Split-Shaft-Bourns-/322081276925?hash=item4afd8a43fd:g:ASoAAOSwFGNWTVJV
  7. So I sold my old FF a while ago right ? (Didn't really know how to use it back then. ) Just bought a Fat Fuzz Factory from eBay Seems like a cool pedal, and since the original FF is in one of the 3 settings, why not
  8. I've had mine for 9 months. The finish hasn't become shiny yet - which is strangeeee, since the red LP is almost glossy where I rest my arm (gross, I know). I'm so surprised how fast these frets wear out tbh, some even look like they have been ... dented? The 15th fret on the 1st string is half-dead - it's incredibly hard for me to make that one note sound good Idk if it needs a fret level & crown or a full refret tbh - consider how cheap the frets seem, maybe a refret would be a better option. Shame - the fret ends and everything feels so nice, it's just the quality of the frets themselves
  9. How is everyone's MBC1 holding up? Mine probably needs some fretwork soon. It's surprising - I can't believe some frets (10 to 16) already show wear and a couple frets have grooves in them. The 15th fret on the 1st sting kinda chokes out on me too
  10. I definitely agree with Jaicen about the model year thing. There's no need to own a 2016 AND a 2017 LP Classic, for example, as they aren't much different from one another. Have they been doing this yearly model stuff for a while now? EDIT: I actually quite like this though.
  11. Thanks guys. Perhaps one of these days I'll attempt to put allen bolts on these since they look so cool. James, hayjackk or anyone with the HD500X (or another modeler) - have you tried using the Fuzz Factory with it (with the FX Loop maybe)? Would that work?
  12. I'll look into the humidity thing. I got some super glue for the bushings and the pickup seems to stay in place now. Used some leftover springs I had from other stuff that are in better shape in the old ones. Did you order your BKP with the allen heads, James? I didn't know you would do that. I think mine would look great with those in black Jaicen, how hard is it to change the pole screws on P90's?
  13. I'll ask my bf for some super glue and glue the bushings in, thanks guys. I wanted to try foam, but I threw away the old pickup boxes that came with the foam, uh I don't think I can find a screw long enough though Yeah, I did. Shit, I had no idea that it would affect the frets. Thanks for the heads-up James, I will oil it much less now. Back at my old place the weather was all fucked up, but here the guitars are in AC 24/7, so the fretboards shouldn't get too dry now.
  14. Guys guys guys :facemelt::facemelt::facemelt: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Rare-Fender-Custom-Chrome-Stratocaster-Stage-Guitar-Shines-Like-Silver-/161643184865?hash=item25a2af42e1:g:LBEAAOSwEeFU54XD
  15. Jaicen or musecasters, I need some help with the neck P90 in my LP. I can't screw it down, basically. The springs and/ or screw would move a couple days after I adjust my pickup height. I think the problem is the loose bushing. Sometimes the screw would suck the whole bushing up (?) What can I do about this? Thank you for your time. Pics:
  16. Hold on, now that I'm thinking about it, the stock pots and jack might've both been metric can you take one of the knobs out, unscrew that and see if it would fit the jack plate? i'm really sorry about that
