Fuji Rock 2010 thoughhhhh

Look at how it sounded at Fuji or Wembley in 2010 compared to how it is now, yes it's still pretty damn epic and was one of the high points when I saw them in Sydney but it's just not as heavy as it used to be idk

this IEM of one of their Knights performances on T2L tour ain't bad, I'm assuming it's Matt's monitor due to the volume of his guitar and vocals over everything else https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGQvSg4Hb5s Knights is still such a shadow of even how it sounded on the Resistance Tour though, such a shame

It didn't really "tell a story" otherwise there wouldn't have been rotations lmao, it's just set out in a practical manner to make the show run smoothly i.e. ballad part in the first encore, piano songs played close together, the 2 jams, Unsustainable and Isolated System allowing Matt to have a short breather and allowing the band to move around the stage with more freedom. There's an idea behind the stage designs of the bands shows but i don't see any real "story" within the setlists

I know that, it was just a joke, i don't think the band would really care what they play, they'd just enjoy being on the stage every 2nd or 3rd night, i know if i was in a band as big as muse playing shows like that i'd be happy to play whatever

I'd prefer it if at least Matt played guitar during the choruses like he did in early 2nd Law Tour performances, it just lacks so much without him playing in it

Exo Politics - catchy drum beat, i enjoy the guitar part, and i actually like the lyrics, they're very Matt Easily - some people don't like it????? why???? Endlessly - I actually find it lyrically nice, sounds better live Invincible - one of my favourite muse songs, haters be gone Follow Me - idk i like it Big Freeze - If you ignore some of the lyrics it gets better Undisclosed Desires isn't that bad A lot of showbiz is a lot better than many people make it out to be. Neutron Star Collision is weird because lyrically it's as cheesy as it gets, but musically i actually kinda like it, wish there was a really good quality instrumental out there.
